      hi, thank you very much for this great video. I actually have a question, what happens if you get sick during your probation period in Germany (like 1 week or so) and bring the Arbetsunfahigkeitbescheinigung ? Can your empoler dissmiss you for this during the probation period ?

    6 weeks! We get 5 days here in British Columbia, and thats new as of last year omg

    please my company doesn't pay for my 1-week sick leave, what can i do? I have my krankenscheine with me and who is supposed to pay?

      Hi, sorry to hear that. Did you hand in a certificate by your doctor stating that you're incapable of working ("Attest")? It usually has to be handed to your employer within the first days of your sick leave. Based on this, your employer has to continue paying your regular salary of you are a permanent employee in Germany.

      @@HalloGermany I give my employer my Attest in the 3rd day and there was no complain. I am a permanent staff and my salary is calculated by how many hours that I do. I don't have a fixed salary.
