heyyy girlll! I have the pink ipad too & got my pen from temu & it works pretty good. just wanted to share in case you wanted to try that before returning it.
with the pink ipad, you need the first gen Apple Pencil that comes with the adapter & it chargers hella fast but you can’t use it when your charging it though which is frustrating but still works as a normal pencil !

I have the same pink iPad girl & the Apple Pencil Generation 1 works! It comes with a two sided adaptor so it can be compatible with the iPad & also for charging!

We have the same iPad and I literally bought a $8 pencil off Temu and it works great no problems and uses the same charger as the iPad!!!!
