That’s one thing about the Mach e the insulation and heating is great, set at 21C is nice and warm, in very very cold Canadian winter .
Yeah the c40 which has heat pump consumes more than a Mach e that doesnt.
Is your ID7 more quiet on the inside when driving 130km/h, or would you say comparable or louder?
C40 is a thirsty beast, its also heavy 2200kg.

acceptable, for that kind of temperature, I would say... but it's far from a good ev, especially considering its price... if it was 45/50k€ instead of 70k€, it would've been very good
In Canada, the RWD has more powerful motor over the FWD and the power capacity of the battery is more dense over the AWD version. 50km more range now? Unfortunately, the car is quite expensive. 74-75k CAD vs 60k for a fully loaded RWD ID4. Not sure it's worth 15k more.
I was even considering this vehicle, but the info system looks so, so bad and outdated. EX30 looks much better.

Because WLTP Autobahn test is just one of four tests and everything takes place at 23 degrees. 🤷
Highway speed accounts for less than 17% of the WLTP test cycle and is also measured at 23 degrees Celsius with all heating systems off on a dry road conditions. I don't understand how it can be a surprise for anyone that the vehicle consumes a lot more at 100% highway speed at 0 degrees, in wet conditions and heater set to 23-24 degrees. What did you expect?
Edit: It's also an SUV with a huge drag coefficient which has a major impact in high speeds.
@@mabr6444 Because my ID.5 Pro Performance 2022 is clearly more efficient than this updated Volvo. That's why….
@@karelski Yeah but the ID.5 also looses a lot compared to WLTP.
@@mabr6444 Volvo prefers the brick design over good aerodynamics, it has a Cd value of 0.32, not great. Nevertheless, considering the aerodynamics of this car and that this is a 130 test, others usually test 120, at -2°C, the consumption of 283Wh/km is decent.
