Sheedy Unplugged (1998 Documentary)

Documentary about Kevin Sheed, hosted by James Hird. Did you know before Sheedy became a highly celebrated AFL player and coach, he was a plumber? This documentary provides a great insight in the daily routine of Kevin Sheed, Essendon coach and former plumber. With interviews with many greats of the day like Tim Watson it paints the picture of Sheedy as a hard driving coach, that despite his tactical genius that changed AFL coaching, he was still a just humble plumber at heart. You can even hear about some anecdotes wonderfully recounted by Rex Hunt about when Sheedy was still a young player and was doing plumbing as a day job. Least of all, meet Sheedy's wife and kids, telling you that although he is incredibly busy as Essendon coach, he still makes time for them and that he is a wonderful father and plumber. Did you know Sheedy used to be a plumber?
