You mentioned in your Bob interview that you are just winging it for most stuff and you are in your first year of nomad freedom so I thought I would share this tidbit: There is a club for nomads called the Escapees that for $50 a year they help members navigate establishing residency in either Texas or South Dakota and they provide a garage-able address (on paper) that is legally valid for a drivers license, auto insurance and to legally have bank accounts to keep the all important social security checks flowing. You have to only stay in those states for one day to establish residency. Both locations are probably 3 days of driving there and then 3 days back from your location but it can solve a lot of headaches and after establishing residency you can renew in the future without going back. I haven't researched yet how to establish the option for out-of-state medical care (that doesn't cost $1,000 per visit) but I'm sure the Escapees club has people in it that know. Congratulations on becoming a free man.
Just found you on Cheap RV Living with Bob Wells. Your subs will definitely shoot up! Love your little NuCamp teardrop! It's big enough for one, I don't know about two. It'd be a little too cozy! Thanks for showing us your nice little camping spot. You lucked out! Stay safe and have fun!
I saw you on Bob's channel. I really enjoy your videos & your great personality! Thanks for being real! I am happy to be one of your early subs! God bless!
I had to see your channel after I saw your video with Bob. Top notch. I really enjoyed this video as well. You are very good at expressing yourself. Thanks
I started on my journey 1 year ago when I purchased a 2023 Promaster Winnabago Van. First trip was 3 weeks exploring the Great Lakes. Michigan was amazing. Next trip was starting going to mile 0 in Florida Keys and traveling the Gulf Coast to Texas. This summer, the adventure was going from Florida to Virginia to pick up my sister and we were off across the country to explore all the way to California. We always try to avoid interstate roads. I enjoy the back roads. In between our RV adventures, we did several cruises to explore Alaska, then 8 weeks adventure in Europe, and last cruise was 2 weeks to Hawaii Islands. Alaska was definitely amazing favorite. I want to drive across top of US and cross Canada to explore Alaska. I hope you continue to enjoy your retirement and travel adventures. I have enjoyed following you on UTube.
Saw your video with Bob…. Got a 2021 Tab 320 Boondock myself…. They are awesome little campers…. I use a Bluetti as well for auxiliary power with 200 watts portable solar…. If you are ever in Texas, there is a Texas Tiny Trailer rally in the spring and fall in Bandera, Texas…. Bunches of us Tabbies show up…. See ya down the road!
I just saw you on Bob Wells channel and figured I'd tag along on your adventures, so I subscribed. It's a nice setup you have but I thought too small to fulltime in, but you have it set up perfectly. (Plus you have the secure bed of the truck to add additional things you need too.) Glad you are able to retire and live on your monthly earnings without worry of your house being foreclosed, etc., plus doing what you love to do anyway...camp.
Sometimes I like being alone, but I haven’t tried it camping, yet. 😊 It’s on my bucket list. The first time I saw you was on a video with Bob. Happy travels!
I just found your channel from Bob's interview you did.. looking forward to sharing your camping experience my friend.. I am your age and I am retired in the Philippines..
New subscriber here. Saw your setup on Bob Wells channel. I love to see how campers deal with limited storage. But you have the back of your truck. Which you use well. I'll be going back to see the video about your power setup. I'm sure lots of people enjoy the directions and location info.
You’re right the trees are A lot like the Sierras. I camp there a lot. It’s always fun to run into Bob Wells. When I was at courtside I ran into me at the grocery store. You’re right he’s just as nice in person as he is on Camera. I’m glad to hear there’s a good road going out to where there’s some extra privacy. Sometimes that’s very hard to find. Aloha
So funny! Sounds like something I’d do! Walk in a circle only to find my own camp!!! Love your video saw you first on Bob Wells and then looked for your channel!
Happy retirement. Good to see you out and about again. Have to check out forest Rd.171 camping spots. Love the guess appearance from Bob and Old Glory. Be safe and looking for more content, perhaps one with you, fishing and grilling.
I thought it would be cool if you had a camera to capture the teardrop as you go. traveling Robert does that with his rig Offers a nice perspective. I am partial since I own a teardrop 😊
I just saw you with Bob and subbed immediately. I'm a retired lady and would love to do what you are doing but it's not possible so I'll just tag along with you if you don't mind. Hope we have lots of adventures together!
I just saw you with Bob. What a great setup you have Stephen. I’ll be starting my travels this Dec. I’d like to camp alone as well. I see you have many videos for me to catch up on , looking forward to learning how you do things. 🙋🏻♀️
G'day from Down Under, Steven. I was very impressed with your van tour with Bob Wells. Now watching your Channel and enjoying your sense of humour and camping tips. And love the Pablo Cruise T shirt. Gotta get me one of those! Keep on camping. 🚎
Just watched your interview with Bob, what an inspiration. I am 55 now, working full time, but this gives me idea to start preparing myself for the future.
Just saw your interview with Bob Wells. I like your camper. I wish I’d gone with a small one. Tip: hearing impaired people have difficulty hearing what you are saying if you have music playing while you are talking.
You should call it a BEDBOX! I am a 73yo lady on the road since dec 2020. I'll be following you; maybe our paths will cross someday. I've been all over America Stay adventurous! Much love, katannya (aka kat) 🧚🏼

Just found you on Cheaprvliving interview with Bob Wells! I really love your camp set up! So very nice! The area you are exploring is near where my brother just purchased a 40 acre property for off grid camping for his family... He likes to enjoy longer camping times such as setting up camp for 4 months at a time, so between this one and his Yuma area property he has some variety. QUESTION: Do you ever look for quick evacuation routes in case of FIRE? With Trees or dry brush, I think it's important to know... THANK YOU for sharing your life!
Just found you. I like your attitude and demeanor. I’ll be following you. I’m heading out on my nomad adventure in November. Thanks for the video and info on the place you stayed.
New subscriber here from Australia, saw you interviewed with Bob, great spot you found there, looks like a very peaceful forest. My problem is I don’t know what to do all day if I stay to long in an area where there is nothing to do 👍🏼
I'm your newest subscriber Bob Wells is such an awesome guy I just seen the video so glad you discovered the best way to live and have adopted The Grateful mindset Mahalo from Hawaii
Hii just subscribed from watching bobs video featuring you n your Lil camper. It's so cute. That's what I'm looking for .. I'll be watching for now on .. safe travels ❤😊
I also saw you on Bob's channel.. you have a great attitude and outlook on life. Your rig and setup seem to work really well. I know you like dispersed camping and you said you could drop your rig and go off to other places. Please get a tracking device and put it in your tab. The really Small trailers sometimes disappear, and it would be more common to happen in dispersed camping areas rather than more organized campgrounds. Happy travels.
Just watched you on cheap tv living. Welcome to the Nucamp family! I notice watching the video that your tailgate was down. Right now I drive a Silverado and I can’t do that when the trailer is attached. I know that there are a few ways of being able to achieve that. I couldn’t make out what you had going with the hitch. I was wondering if you could show that.
Hi😊 I have a tab 400 that I will be taking out on the road sometime in the next couple of years. I am glad to see what you have learned and what you see along the way. I use my ceiling fan to blow the hot air out with the windows cracked with a couple of strategically placed fans. It works well until things get over 90 degrees.
That interview with Bob probably catapulted your views! Way to go!
I'm one of them...watching this after seeing the Bob Wells video. I can relate to his situation and appreciate his good attitude. :)
Love the American flag, and videos!
