I forgot to mention that I paif $14.75 CAD plu taxes for this module. So pretty good value considering the size of this module.

There is a lot of information in that supplement. It provides a scope for how overwhelming Sauron's forces could be at their peak.

They definitely went all out on this module. It would have been great to see what MERP would have come out with had they continued on this path.

Probably my favorite of the MERP modules I never actually played, though I've re-used the citadel maps at least 3 times for other games. I love the back story they give for Akhorahil as the cousin of the Witch-king. I would still like to run a full campaign in Southern Middle Earth if I could find the players.

The way MERP fleshed out the back stories of all the NAzgul was great. Too bad Tolkien had never gotten aroun to them. I had hoped that MERP would continue expanding their reach into other parts of Middle-earth but atlas it was not to be.

Good video, seems like a worthwhile purchase. The fortress series seems like a good series of books. As always I enjoy the info on military, tactics and terrain, something that's lacking in the newer Tolkien rpg books. Nice expansion of Tolkien's work.

I liked how MERP would expand and try different ideas that gave it depth something that the newer LOTR RPG games lack.

I am curious as to the final fate of Wyatan, and what he did in Harshandatt between 1940-1999 SA.

According to MERP he fell in combat to the Numenoreans after Akhorahil declared independence from Numenor. Wyatan forced marched his army but failed to stop the Numenorean landing in Ciryatandor. The Numenoreans caught up with to Wyatan's Army and utterly destroyed it. He was killed and his body withered away as he had a lesser ring of power. His Harshandatt campaign took almost 60 years to complete due to the enemy forces and the terrain.

@@romandacil3984 Thanks! I always wondered why Akhorahil stopped conquering lands after Harshandatt since harad was pretty big and Ancalimon wouldnt attack Ciryatandor until 2280 SA, any ideas?

@@user-rr2ui5dx5y Are you talking about the Greater Harad module by MERP or the Harshandatt module created by Fans and released on the internet? I used to belong to a group but it got to be much away from Tolkien. I do have most of the Harshandatt module printed.

@@romandacil3984 Yea I was talking about the fan module "Harshandatt", it had really cool details about Wyatan's attack on the region and I think it could be really cool to hear what your thoughts are on that one especially since you have most of the Harshandat mod printed. Just a humble request from a university lad :)
