Hey y'all! Welcome back to Skypothesis! We really hope you enjoy this build video because (bad news) we have to take a mid-season break. Our video editing PC went up in smoke (literally, the gpu melted), so we're in the process of building a new PC for editing. No idea how long it will take, but plan on episode 4 in a few weeks!! We have everything almost done for the rest of the season, but are bottlenecked at video exporting. Rest assured, more episodes are still coming your way - they will just be a little bit late! Thanks for your patience
@Mem Very true!! We do use some mods for visual purposes, along with Adobe Premiere for editing, so we're a bit worried that something like that would hold back the video quality. We should be back at it ASAP though!! Thanks
@@Skypothesis good luck kings and queens, I'll be binge watching your old videos, i guess this gives me time to catch up with the desert magician and start this one ❤❤ stay safe guys, no more fires (I'll still be waiting for that necromancer when y'all come back😂😂)
In case you didn’t know, you can actually join the Stormcloaks and the betray them by taking the Jagged Crown to General Tullius. I think it makes sense from a roleplay perspective, my take on it is my character was sent to Skyrim to infiltrate the Stormcloaks. The Rise in the East mission makes sense as well, and is a cool mission. I also believe Titus Mede II orchestrated the plot to assassinate himself, so you can even join the DB and kill the Emperor, roleplaying as part of a splinter group in the Penitus Oculatus or even play through DB up until you kill the body double and the Falkreath sanctuary is destroyed and then dropping those quests (justified by infiltrating the DB to foil the assassination plot). The possibilities are endless!
I have to admit the idea behind this build sounds brilliant. A stealthy vampire assassin who manipulates almost every single faction for the sake of the empire. Nice.
In this build becoming a vampire is a step too far, in my opinion. Yes, it's easy to cure from a gameplay perspective, but think about it from an in-world perspective. There are only the faintest rumours that there might be a cure. It's so difficult to find that most vampires don't even try.

I like the idea of a surviving yet disillusioned and bitter Blade who takes up with the Stormcloaks and the Dark Brotherhood. The image of a figure in full Blades armour stepping over the last of the Penitus Oculatus bodies to approach the Emperor and asking- "Is this what you replaced us with?" Also rampaging through the Thalmor Embassy would be very therapeutic for them. The only problem is I can never bring myself to kill Paarthurnax. May have to take another look at the Rebel and give them a bit of a re-flavouring, The intro to this build reminded me. This build is also excellent!
You could justify killing a Pennitus Occulatis soldier as roleplaying... As branding him a Stormcloak Spy who had (infiltrated the ranks or bought by or under manipulation) and was passing along information to the rebels! I love the vibe of this character and I think you guys are doing a great job! Let me know your thoughts about what I mentioned. Love to hear your thoughts!
@@Skypothesis Casting fury could also signify gaining control of one's mind, bringing out the true nature of the soldier thus revealing his true intentions which triggered him to go berserk and attack his surroundings! She could have picked this up from a certain Redguard Trickster while on one of her undercover missions...
Exactly, maybe you found out he was the one who leaked to Redmane clan of your arrival. And the weapon contraband was in fact an enchanted weapon for Ulfric (which you can acquire after defeating him)
I like how this character breaks the typical expectations - an assassin who’s not part of the Dark Brotherhood but a Penitus Oculatus agent. I like how the double-agent aspect opens up opportunities to do many of the quests since she’s investigating threats to the Empire. The change of outfits when dealing with particular factions is a great choice for immersion. It’s neat how you connect the builds with each other, especially with The Imperial Spectre being the antithesis of The Rebel.
One of the funnest builds Ive ever played. Adds in alot of things that alot of melee builds dont think about, and is pretty powerful for a non crafting build
This character would have SO MANY ennemis in the Skypopthesis universe. Of course, The Rebel would be her worst rival but The Stylite Storm, The Art Thief, The Oblivion Sentinel and The Volkihar Knight would absolutely want her head. I like the fact that you use the sneak tree to create other way to engage a combat instead of just slit the throart of everyone with a dagger. That's very nice and it make want to play Skyrim again. I always wanted to play a dark imperial assassin so i think i will make a playthrought with her. The Rebel is one of the best build you ever made and it make sense you wanted to give him a great rival but it's sad to see him killed at the end of the video by The Imperial Spectre, who his the incarnation of all what he hate. :( I can't wait for next Friday, the waiting time is always a torture but i'm never disapointed ! :)
She totally would have a ton of enemies! The Art Thief in particular would hate her guts hahaha The "timeline" gets a little fuzzy with all of this since all of our builds are technically dragonborn, so perhaps there is a universe where he kills her instead...? haha
@@Skypothesis The Elder Scrolls multiverse lmao 😆 see now there’s another universe where the rebel ripped the imperial specter in half lol 😂 because in that timeline she wasn’t a vampire
@@g7twr7ck7d4 Just ripped the specter in half ? I think The Rebel would be a *little bit* more violent with a imperiald soldier who has been charged to kill his familly.
@@AxelCdRm he’d slowly rip her in half then throw her in a cave to be eaten alive by skeevers lol how bout that one lol 😂🤣🤣 he’d full on go Lobo on her and remove her entrails. lol yeah damn now that I think about it the rebel would do something worse than the brain could imagine lol 😂
I actually love you guys. I've been waiting to see a Build like this for so long, and I've suggested it to so many channels before. And now my favourite channel has done it! This is perfect! It's honestly everything I've ever wanted in a Build. This may be one of my new favorites, possibly even my second favourite now (since nothing can beat the Ghost of Atmora). Also, I know I obviously could've just made this build myself if no-one else made it, but I like to play others' Builds since it feels more authentic. I have a hard time creating my own Builds simply because I control everything about it. Playing other people's Builds allows me to be more strict, and not change anything about it.
Heeeey thanks so much man! The ball got rolling for the idea for this character when you suggested a Pen. Oculatus build a few months back, so we're really really happy you enjoyed it! We feel pretty similarly about playing other's builds - it's super fun to have a set of "rules" to go into the game with. Thanks as always, friend:)
Awesome build!! I also thought of an imperial assassin build and I must say the dark and red colours of the pentius occulatus armor fit very well to the dark brotherhood armor.
First off: awesome builds, guys and gal. Truly spectacular stuff. The Oblivion Sentinel gave me a drive to replay OG Skyrim all over again. Second: 05:04 I can't be the only one who sees that? Is that the Ghost?!
@@Skypothesis I almost didn't. Is there some kind of story there? I know he's the protector of the realm basically...is he just watching or is there more to it?
I love love *love* this build! Besides my general love of sneaky-assassin-type characters, I’ve always found the Penitus Oculatus to be a cool faction, and a lawful neutral agent of them is such a great concept. She really embodies the quote: *”Good soldiers follow orders.”* Excellent work, as always. Y’all have been consistently hitting it out of the park!
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed it! Also love the Dragon Prince profile pic - we're big fans of the series. If you haven't seen our build The Sunfire Herald yet, the Sun Elves from that series are part of her inspiration!
This build looks like so much fun. Combining sneak assassin with sword and board warrior never even crossed my mind but I'll be giving this build a try soon. Great job guys
Upon my honor I do swear undying loyalty to the emperor, and to the officers of his great empire, may those above judge me and those below take me if I fail in my duty, LONG LIVE THE EMPEOR,LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE.
Another awesome build and great video! Tried out most of the builds you've made thus far and they have been some of the most fun playthroughs I've had and has changed the way I roleplay, you guys deserve more views and subs :)
Man i just discovered your channel and i gotta say the quality that's put into these videos is astounding, i just finished binging all of your build videos and it was worth every second, keep up the great work man. your content is pure gold.
I made a similar build to this. However, the spin I took on it is actually joining the Dark Brotherhood. The hint being that the Imperial Council is dissatisfied to the Emperor. And they took the endeavor that the current Emperor is himself a threat to the Empire. Love this build tho
This build seems like an actual character of the game and that aesthetic is clean! I just read the post about the issue with your PC. I hope you can take care of that soon
discovered your channel a couple days ago, and let me just say i’m extremely impressed; these are some of the most comprehensive character build videos ive ever seen in all my time playing skyrim. keep up the fantastic work!
This Build is so great, really looking forward to playing it. literally the one mod I use is the Alternate Start mod, which allows you start as a member of the Penitus Oculatus member. So I don't need to kill any imperials. These roleplaying builds are the best i've seen on TH-cam imo.
@@Skypothesis Unfortunately assassin builds aren't my cup of tea but this is exquisite work as always! Very varied and different compared to the last build.
Another great build cool to see you guys and gals implement your other builds like a story that connects all your builds and they meet each other very cool
Only watched this video and I'm already sold. This is far more unique and interesting than dozens of other identical skyrim/fallout build videos I've seen on youtube. This video incorporates things like signature moves, something I've not seen anywhere else in Bethesda Games TH-cam Sphere. I am hooked. The only reason I'm not binging all the videos of this channel at once is because I have chronic restart-itis and would no doubt feel the urge to make a new character with every single video, and that would lead me to getting no where in any one playthrough. And this channel is still making skyrim/fallout build videos in late 2021! Its amazing to see new life breathed into this rather stagnant and samey fictional realm. Bravo, and I will be intending to watch all of these videos at some point. Also youtubers always win their way into my heart with labeled timestamps
Skypothesis New Build Day always makes me smile 😃! What's this? An assassin who isn't a member of the Dark Brotherhood with a stereotypical edgelord background? A highly skilled and trained Imperial intelligence operative unafraid to use the darkness' own methods against it? This build is so full of awesomeness, I could go on and on-but I'll stop myself. Good job (again!) Skypothesis team!
I don't like characters without a ranged attack but the roleplay scenario is wonderful and the aestethics is super... I guess I've found the inspiration for a new run
That's definitely her weakness! Any character we build that doesn't have ranged we make sure to highlight the use of Dragonrend, because that's where it matters most
Bro idk what it is but these videos are epic! There so unique. I thinks it’s the story you put into them.. fudgetmuppet definitely has some competition now! I love them too tho 🥰
I love the outfit on this one, I never thought the combination work but you never cease to surprise. you should make a video of the failed but funny outfits.
I LOVE the idea behind this build - Also, I'm a brand new subscriber as of today because of it! amazing that vanilla builds are still a thing in December of 2021! The build is fresh, the back story, the role play, it's the total package! love the addition of pickpocket in an otherwise not-very-thief-centric build. love the usage of alchemy but not overpowering the build. I love that this is a night blade - that doesnt use magic! but it still works! it reminds me of a mash of ESO's vampire spell sword, and Fudgemuppet's Messenger of Death builds, and somehow surpasses both, in my opinion. from a production stand point, your videos are organized, the layouts are clean, and I appreciate that the chapters make it quick to navigate. lastly - I like that the choice of standing stone is *not* the atronach stone. ❤ Great work everyone - random guy on youtube
I have played skyrim for years. This build by far is the most lore creative and genius I've seen especially compared to other channels. I might do a build like this. Made me want to play vanilla again!
This is one of my favourite builds from you guys. I know you guys said that this is for vanilla but the mod master of disguise would go very well for this character. Also when acquiring the Penitus Oculatus gear instead of having to break immersion and role play. You could role play the agent you kill to get the gear is corrupt and needed killing as you have been ordered to do so as they are much like the agent the night mother sends you to who gives you the radiant dark brotherhood contracts after completing the dark brotherhood quest line. Although you will obviously not be completing the dark brotherhood questline with this character.
I loved the build and the backstory, the justification for an imperial character to be held and turned into a prisoner because of the disguise was really good and compelling. Considering starting a play through with this build, though I am curious about the sliders specially the Char's Weight slider since it defines how well the armor and equipment suits the character. The one you used in the video is really good.
I finished my playtrough with this character recently and wow it was a lot of fun ! I played the entire build on Legendary difficulty and I would like to share some experiences and tips if anyone else would also like to try this out (: First of all the beauty of Voice of the Emperor: Not only it's an amazing ability for utility, you can also use it to train some of your skills. In this character's case your Block. Basically go anywhere with some humanoid enemy and let them hit you. I personally used the Bandit just outside of the Embershard Mine. Raise your shield while them hitting you and then use Voice of the Emperor to calm the enemy when your HP is low. Then Wait 24 hours. This is gonna reset your ability, restore your HP and it's gonna reset the enemy's aggression. So you can constantly use this to raise your Block skill. Although not the case with this character you can also train your Heavy,Light Armor and Restoration the same way. For Sneak and One Handed you can use Hadvar just before the Bear. He won't aggro you no matter what and he's essential so he won't die. However i wouldn't recommend you to go all the way with this since it's gonna level you up too fast too early. Personally 40 OH for 3/5 Armsman and 30-50 Sneak was enough for me. 3/5 Armsman will make your early game a lot easier. For Illusion just buy Muffle from Farengar and spam it. It doesn't take long at all to 50. For Smithing, Alchemy and Pickpocket i would actually recommend skill trainers. After many playthroughs i realised you are gonna end up with tons of gold you won't ever need. Combined that with Imperial's Luck and how easy it is to get gold in Skyrim, buying skill training is simply an efficent way to use your gold in my opinion. I personally used Arcadia for Alchemy, Balimund for Smithing and Silda for Pickpocket. Speaking of Pickpocket, the Misdirection perk is amazing. I didn't expect it to be useful at all but if you can pull it off it's an amazing ability that can help you in a lot of dungeons. Combined with Voice of the Emperor most humanoid bosses becomes a lot easier with this perk. Being a Vampire Lord is also amazing. I would recommend getting the radient quest from Feran Sadri as soon as possible for the Amulet of Gargoyle. It's a radiant quest so it might take a bit for you to get it but having two Gargoyles especially early game is too OP. Personally i didn't need the Vampire Lord form that much but it's a good backup power in those rough situations. Sorry that this took long. It was a really fun playthrough. Thanks a lot again for the idea Skypothesis (:
@@Skypothesis Hey no worries ! You guys are doing amazing with all these unique builds already. I'm just a bit more into gameplay so i wanted to share these (:
Wow! Been a long time since I've seen such a well presented Skyrim build. Love the roleplay and the gameplay in this. Looking forward to checking out the rest of the channel.
Yet another build to get the old brain running. I have run a Penitus Oculatus build before but this is an interesting take on it. And though I have not been a vampire before it is a good reason to give it a go.
Pick Vampire for a Thief, Nightblade, Assassin character Great bonus to sneak, your illusion also being boosted And that all before Necromage perk in Restoration massive boost every spell for you
@@Skypothesis I have just been trying out your Cyclone Invisibility combo with a Redguard character and came up with a small addition. I used Ocato's Recital for the invisibility spell plus Whirlwind Cloak. These come up when you go into combat. So then do the cyclone shout and charge in after it with a sword in each hand. I could call it Desert Storm but I feel it should include tanks if I do.
Neat build! If you need another early game sword Bolar's Oathblade fits the katana motif , is potent and can be had around 5th level or earlier with a little luck. For mod users on P.C. there is a mod appropriately called Penitus Oculatus that allows you to join that organization after destroying the Dark Brotherhood. I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty boss.
Very fun build. I don't become a vampire, though. One of those lines I don't cross in the game. This build reminds me of The Operative in the movie Serenity.
@@Charagodslayer666 I don't think that "No mods" is a definition for a better build. What I enjoy however is the storytelling and cinematicism of these builds! And the ideas seem to me to be far more unique
Imma be entirely honest. The penitus oculatus are probably my favorite elder scrolls faction. Also, this build reminds me a lot of shay Patrick cormac from ac rogue.
These builds are so unique! I just wish I was half as good as you guys are when it comes to backstories! Are there going to be any nightblade builds in the future? It would certainly help me since I can’t figure out anything to save my life lol
Thanks so much!! This build + the Desert Magician are our two “nightblade-iest” characters for sure right now, but we definitely have more ideas for the future:) And I’d bet you can figure lots out!!
I have been making some of your builds and decided to do this one. I am going to side with the dark brotherhood however because after killing the emperor, Amaund Motierre says we helped the empire in ways we can’t imagine. Which has led the community to believe that someone from the empire, possibly the same person whose necklace Amaund gives us as payment to set up the assassination, wants the emperor dead in order to improve the future of the empire. The spectre joins the thieve’s guild and college of winterhold as a way to form an allegiance between them and the empire. I like the idea of the PO simply being a means to end and not an important affiliation for the spectre. Also, I’m trying to think of something else to wear instead of the cowl, it looks amazing, but the enchantment is useless.
She wears the Shrouded Cowl... but doesn't use Archery She perks Illusion, and is a vampire... but then creates potions to go Invisible I love this character, everything about her is so cool, but the min-maxer in me is going nuts right now 😬 Awesome stuff as always, she's my favourite this season for sure. I also found our Ghostly Atmoran friend, on the mountainside at 5:05?
Haha yes - totally understood on the cowl and illusion! Cowl is 100% for aesthetic, and illusion is solely for quiet casting. Definitely not "ideal" perking, but we had a good time with her anyway hahaha You found him!! Great eye
@@Skypothesis The Cowl is very cool, and it actually goes nicely with female vampire armor, we saw a glimpse of this in the video. I was playing around with a vamp necro-archer idea that uses this very outfit. But...and it just occurred to me... ... for a similar look, the Shrouded Hood is also available at the exact same time as the Cowl, AND it boosts sneak! Deep breaths, deep breaths...
@@grl7753 Hahaha very true - The hood doesn't have a face covering though, and looks... really big and bulky on most characters. This character definitely went aesthetic > min-maxing for sure
Fantastic build and i'm adding it to my list of playthroughs :) ! Question though; would this character do the AE quest to obtain the imperial dragon armor and weapons?? It puts her in the spotlight yet completely masked..and i'm thinking that gladius sword (Dragon's Oath) would fit great on her ^^
As much as infiltration fits an agent of the Empire, I feel like she would've been given orders to simply aid the Dawnguard instead, especially seeing as she doesn't infiltrate the Stormcloaks during the civil war.
It would even work well with the fact that the dark brotherhood quest line coming from within the empire and the assassin's planting evidence on maro's son
I would like to add 2 specials move for this build: 1 - Submission Marked for Death + Voice of the emperor + Backstab With the power of your voice, your ennemis fear the strength of the empire and realize they don't stand a chance against it. And so they throw down their weapons and accept to be executed by your hand. 2 - Nosferatu Nightingale Strife + Drain vitality + Harkon's sword When the Spectre is taken in a hard situation when her health and stamina are very low. She can use this vampire special move to quickly recover a lot of health and stamina.
Here's a tip for those who wants to get the pennitus oculatus armor withouth killing the agent yourself.(and also don't want to use console command) for roleplay purpose. 1-Kill the dark brotherhoods and get high affinity with the pennitus oculatus agents. 2-Learn the whilrwind shout with the greybeards so that it can trigger the Dragonborn DLC event where the cultists appears. 3-Go to Dragons Bridge and either lure the cultist into the Pennitus Oculatus outpost or lure one of the agents to the cultists.(By luring I mean speak to them and enter/get out the building before they finish their sentence so they can follow you.) I personnaly recommend luring the cultist once they get hostile since outside the cultists migh attack the guards and get overwhelmed. 4- Waint until the cultist kill one of the Pennitus Oculatus guard and get his armor. If you don't kill the dark brotherhood since you won't have a high affinity with the pennitus agents they won't fight the cultists and you won't be able to get them killed. You can also use this method with other enemies but I'm not sure if there is any guaranteed enemies to attack you in town. So I think the cultists are one of the easiest option. Like that you can easily roleplay as an Pennitus Oculatus agent that take his/her comrade armor in his honor and avenge him.
I had a similar idea for imperial special operative, but based on Final Fantasy VII Sephiroth. His original story fits perfectly with Skyrim as he was basically created by imperial mages to be the best Soldier, using Septim's blood and daedric ritual on Sephiroth mother. The ritual performed was exceptional because all of daedric lord granted him their blessings and gifts. That explains his power and dragonborn status. Of course he joined the legion in Great War and later became a member of Penitus Oculatus. Much later he was sent undercover to Skyrim to deal with rebellion. (I used alternate start mod so I started in Dragon's Bridge). He wears a mix of daedric and ebony armor (i used console for RP reasons) and a black cape from cloaks of skyrim mod. Weapon is a daedric nodachi from immersive weapons mod or daedric greatsword. Later through the quests he found out that hes is dragonborn and have a Akatosh heritage as well as daedric blessings. Then, like in orginal FF story, our guy basically go mad, as he thinks he is a messiah sent by the gods to rule the world like Taiber Septim did. Of course daeric lords twisted his mind even more through their artifacts. This playthrough is best played on easiest difficulty so you can fell how overpowered such a character can be. He is a good guy turned absolutely mad and evil though a course of daedric quests, which should be prioritized. Especially to obtain Ebony Blade. In my playthrough Dragonborn DLC quests were the last, so i thought that MIraak is a good guy after all and defeated "Sephiroth" in the end. So you need to confront him and lose eventually to be reborn in TES VI of course. Overall, it is great build for Final Fantasy fans. Sorry for my English. Thank you.
This looks fun for my vanilla AE playthrough, though I'm going to join the dark brotherhood to assassinate the emperor with the headcannon that she was put in deep cover by the empire, who believe that Titus is weak (as you said she is a instrument of the empire) and I believe she serves the empire and not just the emperor.
khajiit have such a cool pantheon of gods, i would love to see a squishy priestess type build like that. ive always thought abt making a build in skyrim inspired by fire emblem classes like shrine maiden/ priestess and cleric/saint
The Imperial P.O amour goes well with the red gaurd hood. And heavy steal Imperial boots and gauntlets. With the Champion Warhammer found in fort frostmouth in Ravenrock. Sorry if I got names wrong it's been a while since I played
I mostly play the game modded, but occasionally I enjoy playing the vanilla game. Originally I got the game on the 360. I have three characters on that version. The first is a Breton spellsword. Second is a Nord nightblade. Third is a Dunmer stealth-mage, which sounds much like the second, except she wear robes and wields a dagger. Since then the Switch version has become my go-to version if I want the vanilla experience. There I play a character inspired by one of Fudgemuppet's builds (the Bonelord). This is one build I would play with mods, however. Sure, you could role-play that the Penitus Oculatus guy you kill for his armour is a Stormcloak spy (or maybe he works for Motierre), but if you use Live Another Life you can start as a Penitus Oculatus agent. In fact, that's how I'm playing Livia Sextius, the character I have that's inspired by this build.
Which method to obtaining a Blades Sword did you use/do you recommend? I know some ways are easier/earlier than others, but the question of how well they fit the role-play is another matter.
If I remember right, we didn't pick one up until the meeting in Delphine's cellar. There's one hanging on the wall there. Alternatively you could go get bolar's oathblade earlier, or steal sword off the patron in the nightgate inn.
@@Skypothesis I was sure hoping you would say that. I can't remember if Fultheim requires Pickpocket perks to get his weapon, and I didn't feel like committing another Fury Incident. The intro to this build reminded me.
This build is also excellent!
That's an awesome idea. Really really love that! Gonna take some notes haha
@@Skypothesis Oh please do,
I'd be honoured!
4:42 epic.
Imperial - Nord
Vampire - Werewolf
The Legion - The Stormcloaks
The two have 3 swords and a shield, the two use sneak. Two good builds.
Glad you enjoyed ❤️❤️❤️
You could justify killing a Pennitus Occulatis soldier as roleplaying...
As branding him a Stormcloak Spy who had (infiltrated the ranks or bought by or under manipulation) and was passing along information to the rebels!
I love the vibe of this character and I think you guys are doing a great job!
Let me know your thoughts about what I mentioned. Love to hear your thoughts!
That's a great idea for the roleplay! Love it!
I love this series , with how you connect past builds I mean that last shot with the rebel on the ground was beautiful
Thanks man, means a lot!! It's been super fun to make:)
I can't wait for next Friday, the waiting time is always a torture but i'm never disapointed ! :)
She totally would have a ton of enemies! The Art Thief in particular would hate her guts hahaha
The "timeline" gets a little fuzzy with all of this since all of our builds are technically dragonborn, so perhaps there is a universe where he kills her instead...? haha
@@Skypothesis The Elder Scrolls multiverse lmao 😆 see now there’s another universe where the rebel ripped the imperial specter in half lol 😂 because in that timeline she wasn’t a vampire
@@g7twr7ck7d4
Just ripped the specter in half ?
We had the same thoughts with the armor, and the rest of the character just fell into place!
First off: awesome builds, guys and gal. Truly spectacular stuff. The Oblivion Sentinel gave me a drive to replay OG Skyrim all over again.
Second: 05:04 I can't be the only one who sees that? Is that the Ghost?!
YOU FOUND HIM!! :D
She really embodies the quote: *”Good soldiers follow orders.”*
Excellent work, as always.
I love this build! Amazing set of Les Mis Javert vibes hunting the Rebel down!
Totally get those Les Mis vibes! Love it! :)
This build looks like so much fun. Combining sneak assassin with sword and board warrior never even crossed my mind but I'll be giving this build a try soon. Great job guys
It actually works surprisingly well! Thank you:)
Shield charge is also great while sneaking to move around quickly.

Really appreciate that, thank you so much!!
Man i just discovered your channel and i gotta say the quality that's put into these videos is astounding, i just finished binging all of your build videos and it was worth every second, keep up the great work man.
your content is pure gold.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! Glad you found us and enjoy the vids ❤️
Having played my take on The Rebel. Im starting this build today. Love the duality with them.
Ayyy that’s awesome hope you have fun!!
I'm astounded at the quality of these videos. Instant sub from me!
Thanks yo! Welcome!!
I made a similar build to this. However, the spin I took on it is actually joining the Dark Brotherhood. The hint being that the Imperial Council is dissatisfied to the Emperor. And they took the endeavor that the current Emperor is himself a threat to the Empire. Love this build tho
Ooooh. I like verly much😅
This build seems like an actual character of the game and that aesthetic is clean! I just read the post about the issue with your PC.
I hope you can take care of that soon
Thanks so much yo!! And yeah - we’ll hopefully have everything worked out in a few weeks. We’ll keep everyone posted!
discovered your channel a couple days ago, and let me just say i’m extremely impressed; these are some of the most comprehensive character build videos ive ever seen in all my time playing skyrim. keep up the fantastic work!
Hey thank you so much!! We really appreciate it! More coming soon:)
This Build is so great, really looking forward to playing it.
literally the one mod I use is the Alternate Start mod, which allows you start as a member of the Penitus Oculatus member. So I don't need to kill any imperials.
These roleplaying builds are the best i've seen on TH-cam imo.
Just got a notif of this while I'm playing Skyrim! Definitely gonna watch later!
Ayyy perfect timing haha
@@Skypothesis Unfortunately assassin builds aren't my cup of tea but this is exquisite work as always! Very varied and different compared to the last build.

Another great build cool to see you guys and gals implement your other builds like a story that connects all your builds and they meet each other very cool
Thanks so much man!! Glad you're enjoying them. Much love!
And right off the bat I can tell this is gonna be fun
It was a super fun one for us:)
Thank you so much! Glad you found us:)
Hahaha we can't stand the stereotypical edgelord assassins, so we're glad that you feel the same way hahaha
I don't like characters without a ranged attack but the roleplay scenario is wonderful and the aestethics is super... I guess I've found the inspiration for a new run
That's definitely her weakness! Any character we build that doesn't have ranged we make sure to highlight the use of Dragonrend, because that's where it matters most
She could use Vampire Lord form, as was noted for the Desert Magician.
The special moves you guys create are just TOO good, very creative.
Still waiting for a quartermaster build haha
Thanks mate:) Much appreciated!! And soommeeddaaaaaaay:):):)
This build works and looks great using the shrouded hood instead of cowl. It keeps a similar look and provides bonus stealth
This was so entertaining to watch. I will definetely try this. Very unique build ! Subbed 🤍
Ayy thanks so much, welcome :D Really glad you enjoyed
Bro idk what it is but these videos are epic! There so unique. I thinks it’s the story you put into them.. fudgetmuppet definitely has some competition now! I love them too tho 🥰

yesss i made it through the week this video is my reward thanks for making awesome content dude :)
Congrats on making it through!! Feeling the same rn hahaha
I love the outfit on this one, I never thought the combination work but you never cease to surprise. you should make a video of the failed but funny outfits.
That would be suuuuuch a funny video hahaha
❤ Great work everyone
- random guy on youtube
Thank you so much!! Glad you found us, and thanks for the kind words 💙🤍
I have played skyrim for years. This build by far is the most lore creative and genius I've seen especially compared to other channels. I might do a build like this. Made me want to play vanilla again!
So glad to hear!! Thanks!!
I can't wait u try this one was well all of these build are so much fun
Thanks as always, man
I loved the build and the backstory, the justification for an imperial character to be held and turned into a prisoner because of the disguise was really good and compelling. Considering starting a play through with this build, though I am curious about the sliders specially the Char's Weight slider since it defines how well the armor and equipment suits the character. The one you used in the video is really good.
Continue creating please, this is great!
Will do!! Thanks for the support!! :)
I finished my playtrough with this character recently and wow it was a lot of fun ! I played the entire build on Legendary difficulty and I would like to share some experiences and tips if anyone else would also like to try this out (:
First of all the beauty of Voice of the Emperor: Not only it's an amazing ability for utility, you can also use it to train some of your skills.
Awesome!! Totally should have mentioned Voice of the Emperor in this video. Thanks!
@@Skypothesis Hey no worries ! You guys are doing amazing with all these unique builds already. I'm just a bit more into gameplay so i wanted to share these (:
Awesome build naturally 😉
Thanks as always, friend:)
Wow! Been a long time since I've seen such a well presented Skyrim build. Love the roleplay and the gameplay in this. Looking forward to checking out the rest of the channel.
Lords Mail would work aesthetically as well and have a triple aoe drain effect on top of it
The gear color scheme is grade A. Very natural and thematic
Thanks mate! Most Vanilla sets look like they belong in the game, which is why we love them so much
Out of all these builds my favorite would be this, or the Sapphire Smuggler. They're all very good though. 😊
Good job! Keep going! Love this channel!
Thank you so much ❤️
Yet another build to get the old brain running. I have run a Penitus Oculatus build before but this is an interesting take on it. And though I have not been a vampire before it is a good reason to give it a go.
Pick Vampire for a Thief, Nightblade, Assassin character
Great bonus to sneak, your illusion also being boosted
And that all before Necromage perk in Restoration massive boost every spell for you
Agreed with what's been said - vampire bonuses to stealth are insaaaaaaane!
@@MyH3ntaiGirl Thanks for that. I'll definatelly give that a try👍😊
I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty boss.
oooo sounds cool
Good call! And that sounds like a great mod for her!
This will be LIT!

Very fun build. I don't become a vampire, though. One of those lines I don't cross in the game. This build reminds me of The Operative in the movie Serenity.
I hear specter and can’t help but think,”commander Shepard, we need to neutralize the dragon threat”
Patriotism was never this dark
Good soldiers follow orders

Too kind, yo!! Maybe some day we’ll have a fraction of their subs hahaha
Seriously though these bulids are better. No mods for one.
@@Charagodslayer666 I don't think that "No mods" is a definition for a better build. What I enjoy however is the storytelling and cinematicism of these builds! And the ideas seem to me to be far more unique

These builds are so unique! I just wish I was half as good as you guys are when it comes to backstories! Are there going to be any nightblade builds in the future? It would certainly help me since I can’t figure out anything to save my life lol
Thanks so much!! This build + the Desert Magician are our two “nightblade-iest” characters for sure right now, but we definitely have more ideas for the future:)
And I’d bet you can figure lots out!!
@@Skypothesis I’ll check those out! Thank you!
I'm still playing the burning barbarian :)
Hope you're having a good time with him, he's a homie
Hi i like the aspect of your builds keep up the good work
She wears the Shrouded Cowl... but doesn't use Archery
She perks Illusion, and is a vampire... but then creates potions to go Invisible
I love this character, everything about her is so cool, but the min-maxer in me is going nuts right now 😬
Awesome stuff as always, she's my favourite this season for sure.
I also found our Ghostly Atmoran friend, on the mountainside at 5:05?
Haha yes - totally understood on the cowl and illusion! Cowl is 100% for aesthetic, and illusion is solely for quiet casting. Definitely not "ideal" perking, but we had a good time with her anyway hahaha
You found him!!
@@Skypothesis and the cowl cover your vampire face, make it less obvious for the fanatic Dawnguard and Vigilant of Stendarr
Minor point you could roleplay that the oculitis member you kill was a double agent for the thalmor. ;)
Could definitely see that as well! Absolutely!
This build is spec tacular
Thanks friend ❤️
Technically you could roleplay that you found a mole in the penitus oculatis and assassinate him for the empire's safety
Still one of my favorite builds to date and a great thing to see on my birthday
Great idea for the roleplay - and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :D
It would even work well with the fact that the dark brotherhood quest line coming from within the empire and the assassin's planting evidence on maro's son
I’m watching this like I don’t actually hate the imperials imperial
I would like to add 2 specials move for this build:
1 - Submission
Marked for Death + Voice of the emperor + Backstab
With the power of your voice, your ennemis fear the strength of the empire and realize they don't stand a chance against it. And so they throw down their weapons and accept to be executed by your hand.
2 - Nosferatu
Nightingale Strife + Drain vitality + Harkon's sword
When the Spectre is taken in a hard situation when her health and stamina are very low. She can use this vampire special move to quickly recover a lot of health and stamina.
oh these are fantastic!
Thank you.
The lord's mail from the creation club would be great for this character.
Awesome idea!! Love it!
Rp idea to justify the armor acquisition: corrupted agent was giving secrets to an enemy faction and you were charged with taking him or her out.
I'll use an Imperial Sword until I can get far enough in the main quest. It looks great as an early weapon for this build!
I dont know if it fits, but without killing po agent you can take lords armour from one of anniversary quests
Lord's mail is heavy armor though. Pennitus occulatis is light isn't it?
