Very well done for the Basics. As an APICS certified professional with 26 years experience with these processes, there was one area left out. The Bill of Materials contains 2 varieties to function. (1) The engineering Bill of Materials (eBOM an the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM) The mBOM identifies everything required and the mBOM identifies the sequence. Without the sequence, there is no way to identify WHEN something is required. For example you may need a component for step one and the same component for step 99 3 months later. So WHEN is as important as WHAT.
