You can though, using not the oddly specific rules for the challenge that make it possible instead of just admitting it's not. If there's nothing planted, then it by default is mirrored and symmetrical. So yes, challenge failed right from the get go. Also, for 1 2 or 1 3, isn't it super easy and not rng? I may be confused on the word symmetrical somehow, but couldn't you just switch around the placement of 1 pea shooter and sunflower in the same row and break symmetry?

@@Vamptre actually, unlike most non-catapult plants, Fume-shroom can pierce through the roof slope. So, it's really helpful on the roof against groups of zombies and cheaper than melon-pults even with coffee bean (even though melon-pult is better)

First I thought it sounds rather easy, than I'm very quickly proven wrong by the second level, the pool levels make me understand that it's even more of a challenge, and than you get to the roof top which I would give real quickly, I'm amazed it's even possible. @@topek8693 No, my point is he's only thinking of one form of symmetry (vertical), making sure that the lines can't be reflected across the x-axis. But only focusing on the vertical rows completely ignores the horizontal columns...if he were to view the board as a grid, it would allow for vertical and horizontal symmetry, along with rotational and radial symmetry. It would be a much easier "challenge", but it would create more interesting gameplay and patterns.

If you want to do this without save scumming, you can change it to “without plant symmetry”. That way flower pots don’t count, because they’re not plants, they’re inanimate objects
I know that horizontal rows are much harder and make for a better challenge, but technically as long as one plant isn't in the same vertical column it's never symmetrical anyway

I literally didn't even use Plantern or Blover for the entire run in my first completion. To me they were trash, useless and a waste. (Blover is still gud because it kills balloon zombies) Also, speaking about personally trash plants, every time I tried using Scaredy-shroom I lost lol.
@@joelhoon1707 Scaredy shroom is an early game plant, Idk how you lose with that plant but it's not like puff shrooms don't exist. Try planting scaredy shroom at the end, besides the sunshroom/sunflower. Then place puffshrooms in front of it. Also, I agree that Plantern is trash for the most part, mostly because it ruins the symmetry and it doesn't really do much, once the all the lanes have offensive plants, you don't need it anymore, puffshrooms are OP anyway. Plus, the only thing it's good for is spotting zombies like Balloon Zombir which can be popped by a cattail if you had one. Blover is way more useful though, and let's not even talk about Cactus...

First I thought it sounds rather easy, than I'm very quickly proven wrong by the second level, the pool levels make me understand that it's even more of a challenge, and than you get to the roof top which I would give real quickly, I'm amazed it's even possible.
Than Zomboss, I thought it's literally impossible but you give us such a plot twist, I was surprised again.

@@topek8693 No, my point is he's only thinking of one form of symmetry (vertical), making sure that the lines can't be reflected across the x-axis. But only focusing on the vertical rows completely ignores the horizontal columns...if he were to view the board as a grid, it would allow for vertical and horizontal symmetry, along with rotational and radial symmetry. It would be a much easier "challenge", but it would create more interesting gameplay and patterns.

Maybe it could make it easier for stages with all the rows but I can't say for sure untill I see it I suppose.
Watching this was like one of those "99% can't beat" mobile game ads where the solution is literally being given to whoever is playing and yet not a single correct move is made and you're just sitting there wanting to break the screen you're watching on because they're just fucking teasing you into downloading the game and showing them how easy it is and how fucking braindead they are.

If you want to do this without save scumming, you can change it to “without plant symmetry”. That way flower pots don’t count, because they’re not plants, they’re inanimate objects

I literally didn't even use Plantern or Blover for the entire run in my first completion. To me they were trash, useless and a waste. (Blover is still gud because it kills balloon zombies)
Also, speaking about personally trash plants, every time I tried using Scaredy-shroom I lost lol.
@@joelhoon1707 Scaredy shroom is an early game plant, Idk how you lose with that plant but it's not like puff shrooms don't exist. Try planting scaredy shroom at the end, besides the sunshroom/sunflower. Then place puffshrooms in front of it. Also, I agree that Plantern is trash for the most part, mostly because it ruins the symmetry and it doesn't really do much, once the all the lanes have offensive plants, you don't need it anymore, puffshrooms are OP anyway. Plus, the only thing it's good for is spotting zombies like Balloon Zombir which can be popped by a cattail if you had one. Blover is way more useful though, and let's not even talk about Cactus...
