Hi dude, I just add these bars to my scout, right on time for ride to the Lone Star Rally here in Galveston, I really like this set up from Deen Speed, nice bike dude!!!!
I apologize for my comment. I was trying to find a video on installing the Rox risers as I just ordered a pair for my 2021 Scout 60. I’m concerned about possibly having to get a longer clutch cable. That would preclude me from doing installation myself.
No problem, the 2" Rox risers will work with the stock cables, no problem. You'll need a long allen key when you do the install. It will become evident why when you see the risers. It's an easy install, they are just a bit fiddly when getting them set where you want them.
Thanks for the video!! Do you have any pictures of what your bike looks like from the side with that set up? Just got my risers ordering the drag bars next.
@@dadwithabike That's what I thought have not seen the drag bars in any of your latest videos. I'm using mine for just local riding (no trips!!). Does the risers let you pull the bars back toward you? I'm looking to bring the drag bars back toward me to help with my short reach LOL. Thank you for getting back with me much appreciated.
I used the 2" pivot risers from Rox. Last I checked they were out of stock. Here's the link roxspeedfx.com/collections/harley-vtwin/products/indian-scout-2-pivoting-bar-riser
Great video bud. Hey I see you had the 8 inch mini apes I’m looking for those. Since You change to the drag bars. Would you be interested in selling them to me? Also, What handlebars do you consider to be more comfortable?
Sadly, I have already passed on the 8" bars. As for comfort - they both had their places but are equally comfortable. The biggest problem I had with the 8" was my hands were too far out and that put a weird stress on my forearms - as in they were sore after riding. I haven't experienced that with the drag bar ... but the drag bar has me leaned over on the tank.

Awesome - hope you had a blast at the rally
@@dadwithabike hell yeah, it was a blast!!!, the only problem was getting back to the house, when the boss (A.K.A. Wife) was waiting for me ☠️☠️☠️😄

I may somewhere, I've since changed this up quite a bit because I do more longer distance riding.

@@gsasser1 So, if I were you I would check out Roland Sands risers the RSD one's. The do the best job, a bit pricey but worth it.
Badass
Thanks!
Always a great review . With the standard bobber bars and fox riser . Will I need to extend the cables
Nope, you're all set with stock. You can go as high as 8" handlebars on the bobbers with stock cables
How tall are you? I am looking to go with this set up.
I'm about 5'9" - the bar bends you over pretty far so make sure it's what you want. Long rides will wear on you.
I’m looking into running this set up, which rox risers are you using?

Do you have a link to the bar end mirrors?
Yup - absolutely .. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079KBDC9Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Any clearance issues with the mirrors and tank ?
Or do the risers help keep that from happening ?
Risers will fix that for ya
My bad. From the title, thought I was going to learn something.
Sorry you feel that way. Ride safe
