you're right. I was focusing by tapping my iPhone 5S, but yeah, the shakiness of my hand combined with the darkness in the studio probably didn't help. hopefully you still liked the video because of the car alone!
@motormavens, is it possible in the future if you ever get tto meet this car again or a different FRS with a 2JZ engine, to please film or take really good photos of the right or left side motor mounts? The motor mounts is what several FRS builders are wondering how the pros are making theirs I believe. This leaves a good question to be answered and a good video in the area below the Turbo would greatly help any inspired FRS build with a 2JZ engine!
2jz is always the way to go :) i think with the angle its mounted it should still retain close to its center of gravity. No doubt they had this in mind from day one!!
I wonder if they had to order overnight parts from Japan lol. Anyway it looks great!! Toyota really hit this one out of the ball park with the FR-S. My friend had an 87 Supra I believe with the 1JZ engine and it was fast. I can imagine how fast this little FR-S is with all that power.
wheels spacer are just like steroids for me, but I prefer to with wider wheels and tires (10.5" and 11.5" wide wheels for the front and rear respectively)
Dumb question, but what transmission is mated with the 2JZ in this FRS? Was there any modification done to fit the 2JZ as well as the driveline? Thanks!
drbos FL it was at a special Scion event, and we didn't know it would be there. We didn't have control of the lighting, and I had to shoot this with my iPhone! haha
Amazing car but that quick fix hood spacer with that panel gap is just poor. If it were a show car it would get torn apart by critics. Good thing this car is all about the go and not the show.
all we need now is a production version of the FRS/BRZ with a 3jz-gte with 3.5l i6 engine
This is pretty awesome for being recorded on a 5s.
Nice work as always Antonio!
Baddass whip!!!! Damn that's exactly how I'd want mine
ooh so clean... Now he has 2 FRS!
What a build !! 👌
I LOVE that engine bay!
Ive never been into scion but their latest models i gotta say are really clean stock but this fr-s with these rims are reallly clean good job
Like this Ken's Rocketbunny ZN6 FR-S
that is pure perfection!

got to see this at sema, and it was amazing.
Wow... The supra lives in this car. The supra has always been my favorite sports car. But I have a FRS and would die to have that motor lol.
Thank you!
750HP in a car that now weighs probably only 2000LBS lmao damn.....

How many hours they build that Gushi's FR-S ZN6?
Looks good for an iphone video I thought it might have been an sony lol that engine is awesome for people that love high speeds.

really would like to know what colour this is ???????
+Damian Spehar It's battleship grey
how much would that car cost as is?
What would you recommend to do after installing rocket bunny kit? Add spacers to the wheels or get bigger tires and if you what tires are recommended?
jhonny gonzalez not spacers... wider wheels and tires!

The camera looks like its having a hard time focusing.

im pretty sure I sure i saw something that said 'gsr 4-speed transmission'
sounds custom
I wanted to get a frs then buy a 2JZ to put in it. How much do they cost?
Eleazar Ramirez the FRS or the 2JZ?
Motor mavens- for the 2JZ motor
+Eleazar Ramirez if you're asking how much it cost to swap a 2JZ then it's too much for you. Done properly you're looking at about 20k and up
+Joey Gomez yea I bought a G35 instead. I'll get a money pit later in life.
Next time, try turning on the lights.. maybe we see whats going on?

SUBARU Is so great!!!
