Are there any plans to bring back context for these posts? I know when this subreddit first started to be covered, context would always be provided with the posts, but that hasn't been the case for a while. I think it'd help both the narrators & us viewers understand them better, since as of now, my understanding of most of these posts is just "oh, I guess the opposite happened" and nothing else.
More than likely, not. Nowadays people are so "chronically online" as others put it, that everyone just expects others to understand what they're talking about and be caught up-to-date with every little thing, whether it be memes, the news, politics, video games and movies, or gossip; which is pretty much all the Internet has evolved into, a massive digital platform that's used to gossip, shitpost and talk smack, rather learn, reason and communicate in a timely manner to advance and grow as people. Most of Reddit now is just people discussing or posting without providing context and getting upset when they have to provide context and explain something, which is why I don't use Reddit or Twitter, but I don't mind watching videos on them because it's like watching a dumpster fire from afar. :)
Edit: follow-up; I don't think the EmKay crew will, but they try their best to provide context where it isn't given. But I'm actually convinced most of the EmKay crew don't actually keep up with everything that happens on there, on Twitter or outside to have that ability to provide context for the viewers. Which is honestly fine, I don't expect them to have to dig up information or research topics and posts, what they're about, to provide context for the videos. It'd just be a lot of work put in, just to keep making videos on one particular part of the Internet, that's already pretty grey. They try their best and that's good enough for me.
Sadly Emkay decided to streamline their videos as much as possible. There's no context for the same reason there's no intro/outro anymore: -Apparently- people just want the content and then leave. No context, to "time wasting intros" just the memes. I still love Emkay but man I'm still feeling the changes they made, and not in a good way.
Emkay don't even check their own videos to see if they they have already used an image/thread, so if you want context on these posts then i wouldn't hold your breath.
They literally go to a subreddit, take screen shots and then talk over them. Requires minimal effort and the person who said "chronically online" is 100% correct on everything.

Well, that stinks. There's more than a couple of these that I don't know the context for. Especially when there's just a picture with no name. I suppose I'll have to ask the other commenters what the context is for different parts of the video.

Also referencing the multiple times in the past six years that we've been this 🤏🏼 close to having international warfare that'd transpire into a massive depression, causing all major countries to get involved some way or another.
Thankfully we've been pretty, ugh, lucky, I guess. But if another World War were to occur, I think it'd be when we've invented laser guns n' junk. Full on Titanfall.
Personally I think we've had it good for so long that realistically, there isn't a reason to engage in war or support the idea, but if another World War were to happen now, I think most people wouldn't be motivated enough to participate. That and also Zombies. Everyone thinks they'd kickass in The Walking Dead, but I think 99% of the world's population would be eaten by the end of the first week of an apocolypse.

As someone who still plays Halo Infinite, the last one hurts.
Because it aged like an unvacciated child. Seriously, the memes about Infinite burrying BF2042 and COD aged SO fast I feel bad for the people who made them.
The game came out in Nov. 2022 and we're only at Season 4. No, really, check this out:
• Split-screen was canned (a Halo 1 feature btw)
• The item store is still awful, overpriced and still weaponizes "fear of missing out"
• Campaign continuation was canned
• because they fired the campaign team
• Absolutely no progress in the story. Chief is lost on a Halo from beginning to end.
• No lore.
• They hate the game engine so the next Halo will be on Unreal Engine
(Reminder that this game was supposed to last 10 years and they're already buying a new engine lmao)
• Joe Staten left the game
• 2000-ish players on Steam, approx 15 000 on Xbox
• A population so low in Oceania that they have to queue with Americans to play
• Still can't pick the color white for your character without forking over 15 bucks.
• Actually, still can't pick colors since they went for that terrible paintjob system.
• We only just got a player xp system that isn't a battlepass (and it's not great)
And the list goes on and on.

An R-rated Scooby could work. It would, in my mind, be the Mystery Incorporated version but cranked up to eleven. It wasn't the rating that made Velma bad, it was... everything else.

The article claiming that all had been saved from the Titanic was based on just muddled information as word was spreading of the sinking.
I believe it was RMS Olympic that confirmed that Titanic had sunk, and that Carpathia had recovered survivors, but in the ear of morse code via Marconi wireless systems, information was muddy at best.
Some printed news falsely saying that either the ship was being towed back or all had been saved before Carpathia arrived with the 705 left.
Only then did the reality of the disaster begin to spread.
And if this isn't 100% right, please don't yell at me, I'm not an expert.
