Really happy to see Lakshmi ji after so many years, 45 years as I have seen her in the movie ""Julie ""in 1975 when this movie was released in KOLKATA at Rupali cinema hall at Bhawnanipur near Jadubabur bazar. Then I was 14/15 years old. I could not see any boys or girls as my aged inside thé Rupali cinema hall. This movie Julie in Hindi language was a controversial then. Perhaps this movie was stamped as ""A""mark so no any boys or girls were allowed below 18/21 years but I was always tall and healthy and really to some entent good Looking and with pleasing personality and good English speaking guy so the ticket counter man gave me ticket. I bought a ticket by paying only 3.50 (Three rupees and fifty paise) and then the gate keeper allowed me without any enquiry. Then the thoughts of people were ethically and morally right against this movie but today 's perspective no matter. When I conveyed to my some friends that I have seen Julie they became thunderstruck and bewildered. My elder sisters they were too thunderstruck and speechless and they wanted to know the story and enquired of the beauty of new actress Lakshmi. This movie mainly got massive popularity due to fantastic songs by respected Kishore kumar And respected Lata Mangesgkar and music composed by Rakesh Roshan. Julie Hindi movie remained a hot discussion minimum Next five years. Still 1980 our Indian society remained extremely conservative but after 1980 slowly the curtains of conservatism loosed at least in the field of films. In Telugu or Bengali or Malayam or Hindi in all sections. Nowadays sexual vugarity and violences are the elements of story hence once the "A"mark movie Julie at present is a normal movie.
