A few methods on how to get cars that are no longer available for purchase on websites in GTA Online after the Mercenaries update.

@@nasrythfunes8265yeah the fact that they removed it from benny’s too (a website that only had 30 cars total) is just the most obvious sign that they did it maliciously with zero intent to “streamline the browsing experience”

In my opinion, R* should have made a separate website that has all the removed cars, using the filters or a startup menu like the ones used by dynasty 8 executive and Maze Bank Foreclosures and had2 options between LMS and SSA and all the ‘removed’ vehicles were there and you just had new ones in the main websites to actually streamline the experience as opposed to ruining some aspects of the game

Or a 2nd floor at the car meet with used vehicles. They will have random damage or mods but change daily or maybe random per visit. Although if your on PC then the cars are still available.. Just ask a friendly modder... Car arrives free but you just pay a high value for the insurance/tracker.
Yeah that's what they should have done.. but that's not why they did. They don't care about "streamlining" the browsing experience at all. They did this to create artificial scarcity by making these vehicles rare and more desirable, and so that they can re-release old contact for special events and stuff as if it's new. When they do make these vehicles available, since they are now rare and limited time only, it will increase fomo, leading to more grinding and buying shark cars.
As well as their main motivation is so they can add these cars to the new vinewood car club, which showcases and sells a rotating selection of vehicles at discount price. But you can only actually buy the cars if you have a gta+ subscription. Essentially they are adding pay to play mechanics, locking certain vehicles primarily behind a real money, monthly pay wall. This is best evidenced by the fact that I think 3-4 of the more desirable removed vehicles were immediately added to the car club.
Like the stirling gt, a vehicle that recently received an hsw upgrade making it one of the newest vehicle/ one of the fastest cars and the 2nd best in class for racing. Now when a person wants a removed vehicle that's in the car club, they are far more likely to buy gta+ cus or fomo and not when or if if will return some other way.
Another motivation I think, is inflation. The price of vehicles has drastically gone up over the years. If you compare similar modern and old cars, depending on the class and specific vehicles, prices have increased from anwhere from around 3× to as much as 20x. By removing almost all of the older cheaper vehicles, rockstar if removing these price discrepancies. Now you are forced to buy that cost hundreds of thousands instead of thousands, millions instead of hundreds of thousands, etc.

I mean it’s weird how clothing is way more cluttered than any of the websites- and they didn’t change that 🤔
The thing about checking in every week to see if the cars turn up is that you’re playing right into R*s hands doing it, making more people return to the game for recycled content… Sad thing is: it’s going to work.
I just always check online on GTAO forums or on YT for the weekly updates. I highly recommend doing this instead of wasting time to manually boot the game and check.
If there is nothing good that week. I just don't log in at all.
@@alexmir8942 Sure thing, I think most people do it this way. But even so, when people see that something they want is available, they will log on. And when they do, R* have successfully made people return to the game for old content.

The funny thing is when you're not looking for a certain car, it spawns everywhere. When you are looking for it, it's nowhere to be found! 😂

The spawned cars are based off location and what your driving. And the cars that you want off the street, there are a few that are $90k that you can take, mostly the German imports. Shafter v12 and the like. If it IS a Simeon list car, drive into your garage to claim, then take it to LS customs and you can keep.
I got the Vysser Neo in the Auto Shop and I was meaning to buy it before it was removed, happy to see it there. Thank you for the tips!
Quick note for the Autoshop: If your playing online with other friends or crew members as long as you can enter THEIR Auto-Shop you can purchase those cars as well.

I was searching for the Prius (Dilettante) for ages to complete my Breaking Bad character and I cam across this video. I was watching while playing and as soon as one spawned for you, I alt tab back into my game and it spawns for me. Talk about luck! Thanks!
I hope they make some of the cheaper cars rare spawns that can be kept, I love finding them early game

There is a slight chance you can win a duplicate off the casino wheel. If you win the car, usually on like the thursday it appeared, it might respawn before the next weekly update. I have two of the exact same Dinka Sugois that were on the wheel: silver, with a blue livery, and some abysmal yellow wheels

PS: It is stupid that Rockstar did this in an attempt to force ppl into purposely playing "their game" to going on gta just to be able to purchase the content you're no longer free to purchase anytime you wanted to.. and if you cant afford it. Shark Card it, before its too late.

6:48 you can claim simeon vehicles if you take it to your garage, take it back out, then take it to ls customs.
Can you please explain what you mean? If you're talking about the cars Simeon ask you to steal, respray, and take to his garage at the docks, well most of them (like the Carbonizarre, Comet, Coquette etc.) are high end cars and the game does not allow you to take them into your garage. Any car that you can take into your garage from his list (like the Schwarzer) you can steal off the streets anyway.
@@kayla-Rey22 take one of the cars simeon wants you to steal to any personal garage that you own, after you are inside the garage get back in the car and drive it to ls customs and you will no longer be restricted to resprays so you can purchase full coverage.
@@GhostAsphalt : Okay, let's take the Carbonizarre as this is on Simeon's list quite frequently. Forget Simeon for a moment and go out right now and steal a Carbonizarre and take it into your garage. You can't. It won't let you because it is a high end car (or too hot as it says) and you are told to purchase it from the appropriate website. Obviously, you cannot purchase it now it has been removed but R* need to change what is says about purchasing it and then they have seemingly overlooked this. they will probably change it at some time.
Okay, if you cannot drive a Carbonizarre into your garage then why would you be able to do this when you steal it for Simeon? You can't. The only cars you can drive into your garage are the ones that cost under 100K like the Schwartzer and you can steel and keep these cars off the streets anyway without going through the Simeon steal. There are a whole glut of other cars on Simeon's steal list like the Coquette, Comet, Bullet, Feltzer, Infernus, Super Diamond, Banshee, Surano and Exemplar which all cost over 100K and you will not be able to drive any of those into your garage and keep. Like I've already mentioned, the ones on Simeon's list which you can drive into your garage are the cheaper cars which you can steal off the streets and keep at any time. You do not have to do this through Simeon for these cheaper cars. You can steal them anyway.
@@kayla-Rey22 To answer your question, it is only with cars that are not too hot. So basically 50- 80,000$ Dollars limit.

@daniel-tv4hx It's always been $100,000 and above (except the bikes). The most you can sell a street car for is $9,500, that vehicle being the Felon GT with a value of $95,000.
I’m just glad I have my 9F, I only got it to go with the 10f I like matching cars in my garages.
$100,000 is the limit you can keep a car. Sucks though because the Comet was at $100,000.
And you can keep Simeon Cars too if you take it to a personal garage or better, your Auto Shop since it is free to insure there
People keep saying this but those cars that you steal for Simeon that are not too hot can be stolen off the streets at any time and kept. Why would you need to involve Simeon?
@@kayla-Rey22I was just saying that cause maybe based off his list for the day, may make some of the cheaper ones he's looking for spawn more often.
And that if it is a Simeon car that he wants, you would have to go to the Auto Shop to insure it cause LS Customs will only give you the option to change the paint job to drop off to Simeon
You can actually just drive off the street cars (in value limit) straight into your garage if you have space. That will save the vehicle as yours for free without adding the tracker and coverage. Even Simeon vehicles.

The corquette is currently at ls car meet with a patriotic decal. It’s the one that was removed.
Much like the Tuner shop, the MC clubhouse has a random motorcycle that you can get aswell.
For some reason, customer bikes VERY rarely spawn for me. Someone said they would only spawn if your clunhouse bar was supplied. If so, it isnt worth it.
@@Shadowborg I dunno how it works but I’ve never done a clubhouse mission apart from doing customer bikes. The new ones usually show up after about 20 mins of playing.
I usually cycle, the Mc club for bike delivery then do the two cars at the auto shop then do a pay phone hit and by that time I can do it all again.
I found the GP1 in The LS Car Meet. which was one I was looking to Get.
I think you can actually customize a Car you're planning to buy in the Auto Shop for Free if you Customize it first and then you Buy it.
I bought the Walton L35 because My Dad Drove a Chevy S 10 for a while when I was a kid. Pretty reliable little Truck. but in GTA it has pretty Good customization for a Truck.

Fortunately, the regular Comet you can get at your Auto Shop for only GTA$100,000. The one needed to get the Comet Retro. I got lucky a couple of days ago and bought 4. 😅 W video!!! Also Same thing with the bikes at your club house. Don't know why RockStar removed so many bikes, almost every Chopper is gone! The Avarus is my favorite, and that one spawns there.

You can also buy removed motorcycles from the M.C. club house when a customer brings a bike in.
Thanks for the info. It all makes sense but being beyond fed up with R* constantly breaking everything, I had forgotten about the auto shop. It does not make sense though that if you can steal it for simeon, to not be able to steal it for yourself. Honestly, other than the game just not letting it happen, what stops you from putting in your own garage? Sad how hard they are trying to kill the game.
To be fair the whole point of the "remove" was to cars which was rarely bought don't take place on the ingame website instead you could buy them on the ways you can see in this video.
I'm realy glad at lest one youtuber sane enough to not just cry about "remove" but actually explain the players how they can get them now.

Reality they not removed anything. Just changed the method how you get them.
So we'll get them at discounted prices then like we used to in Legendary Motorsport and Super Autos when they're on offer? I'm on old gen and I haven't seen any of them in Simeon's this week. How do you get them in LS car meet always assuming there are any in there? And are you seriously saying all these cars will eventually be in the Auto Shop or just a few random ones like the Comet. Don't need a Comet. I need an XA-21. Haven't seen that in LS Car Meet yet.
@@kayla-Rey22there is one car in Simeon's that was remove, the Landstalker XL. In the Car Meet, there is always 3 cars that you can test drive in the car meet itself, but you can also buy them (this week there's the Verlierer and GP1)
it’s a stupid, scummy business practice by rockstar to capitalize off FOMO. stop defending it, instead of making the process of purchasing the vehicles 100x harder, why not automatically filter the car websites and give the option to show lesser used cars? this multibillion dollar corporation was smart enough to think of that idea, but opted to *practically* remove them for the sake of ramping up visits to the game AKA money

What I don't like is this false narrative that only cheap and rarely used cars were removed. if you check the list of cars removed from Legendary Motorsport alone there are some very popular cars gone. Ones like the XA-21, 811, Zorrusso, SC1, ETR1, Neo, etc. etc. it's a long list. R* did this for two reasons. One, so they could offer them to GTA+ members in the new Vinewood Showroom on new gen. And two, to create a FOMO scenario so that when they do show up in the Car Meet or Simeon's, people will buy them in case they don't show again for a long time. It's all about money.

With buying your friends' cars, I found that you can sell the vehicle for almost the same as you bought it for.

Oh, GT4 songs!!! dude!! I have it! The best with Gran Turismo 5 for everything: cars, car culture, circuits. The only thing that GT7 has it's about car modifications and the fact you have Bathrust, Willowspring and Interlagos.
some simeon cars you can keep just try putting them in one off your normal garages and if you can keep it it will go in your garage little tip respray before keeping it and youll save a little money

Collect the removed cars, and then we take them to the LS Car Meet to bring the ability for others to buy them.
I think you can buy people’s cars on old gen as well. But I could be wrong. But yes, you can meet people or have your friends give you a copy of their car. Heck if this guy wasn’t on PC you would know where to get a Comet Retro.

Quick tip:The comet retro custom is the rarest car to see on your auto shop lift (reply if u want it i will never deliver it to the customer just leave it on the lift lol)

You can get the F620 off the street and store it into your garage even if it’s 80k or 90k.
Try to put first in your garage , then customised it in LSC

Kindof a shame, one that i had and still have as my first im broke, whats for sale was the rusty rebel truck, was fast and a offroader. Was one of the cheapest on market and starting out the speed was good and good customizations. Now most of what they got is the high end stuff so people are gonna be having to snatch and go for other vehicles.

Bought a modded account after seeing the removal list. Rockstar did put me into action when it comes to using my wallet. Probably will get banned soon, then ill uninstall lol.
