Rockstar's reason is a excuse. Real life sites allow you to filter them via brand or even has a search bar. They could've easily done the same thing here.

Some things they could add to help out old gen:
1. Add the ability to buy player cars at the LS Car Meet.
2. Add the ability to buy NPC cars from the LS Car Meet.
3. Add all removed vehicles to the Auto Shop customer car spawn table.
4. Add removed cars to the street, and remove "too hot" restriction.

I would be fine if only the cars that spawned on the street since 2013 be removed from the sites. I think removing the "too hot" flag for day 1 supercars will be a bit unfair in a way

Removing the Stirling GT is actually so ridiculous it’s almost funny… they literally just gave it HSW customization. And the fact it’s in the VCC *the week they remove it* makes it so blatantly obvious they’re just doing this for more GTA+ subscriptions.
Yeah it’s irritating that R* think we are that stupid. There were multiple cars in there too, the Seminole Frontier was another gta+ club exclusive.

for me, a big part of GTA online was just buying and modding cars, it makes me sad to see that Rockstar rather removes vehicles 'in order to improve the browsing experience' instead of just actually improving the vehicle browsing experience.
Exactly, They agreed as well as trying to grind out a game that's been going on for 10 years loses it's charm no matter how fun it is, plus with the bad spawn mechanics of cops as well as on certain jobs where the cops will spawn regardless no matter How good you are with a mission like with a hacking device on the casino heist preps You could go in there without being seen come out the building & they say you got seen in a cutscene there's really no point in going stealth because they anticipate no one will do stealth, everybody's excited for GTA 6 when I can careless, if it wasn't for boredom I wouldn't be on this game at all. I'm really waiting for a good PVP to come out(XDefiant)

I reckon there not too far off forgetting about the game. I'd say another year of content and that's it but they really should leave it in a good state
Rockstar should open up dealership locations for every car brand across the map. A Vapid (Ford) dealership sits down the street from Simeon’s functional dealership. So rotate all the cars under that brand every week for that dealership. That goes for every other car brand. Pegassi with bikes and sports/super cars, Grotti, Bravado, Progen, Imponte, etc.

I've said before and I'll say it again here, I love how on next gen the career progress challenges allow you to get Michael, Franklin and Trevor outfits but they removed Michael's Tailgater, Franklin's Buffalo S and Trevor's Bohdi

@@Skillorex I'm not sure if they made them traffic cars on expanded and enhanced but to my knowledge the 3 protagonist cars only available on Southern San Andreas. In traffic there is the regular Buffalo which is different from the Buffalo S, but the tailgater and bohdi were definitely only on the site

You should host a car meet featuring deleted cars at the LS car meet. That way members have the opportunity to buy deleted cars.
And then they will remove this way too
For those people who keep saying that people should already have all the cars/vehicles in the game, It is impossible to own every vehicle in GTA because there's limited space to house every car, aircraft, motorcycle etc in this game when Rockstar is stingy with giving you more room to house vehicles. Hangars can only house 20 vehicles, so adding new planes will always cause you to remove an aircraft to hold something new, MC Clubhouses can only hold 10 bikes unless you put them in your garage and then thats lack of room for other cars etc. Rockstar continuously adds vehicles to this game but neglects to include enough housing to accommodate each vehicles they release.
We should be allowed to keep cars in the Hangar. That could in theory hold like 50 cars or hundreds, if no aircraft in present. Or maybe have a Storage function for the garages, like the hangar.
Or if that's too complicated for Cuckstar, we could have more 50 slot garages!

At this point, I think Rockstar showed what they think of us with this change. I'm not buying another R* title unless they roll this bullshit change back, and fast. There are plenty of other games that I can spend my time and money on. And since I play GTA for the Auto much more than for the Grand Theft, it just means I'll be looking at Forza Horizon or Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown.

I haven’t seen anyone mention it but, many of the vehicles I bought off the websites have lost their “full coverage” aka insurance. Which means when my cars got destroyed I couldn’t get them back from MMI, all these cars are 100k+. Very annoying bug.

People complaining about Grand Theft Wallets don't know the meaning of "grand theft auto" obviously. In previous games (not counting GTA IV) you couldn't own a car as your PV, you could steal a car and store it in one of your garages, but if it got destroyed, you'd loose it permanently. So in that regard GTA V is still "grand theft auto" as you CAN steal cars from the streets and drive them around. It's not Grand Buy Auto, or is it? Yes, I agree, that removing those cars from the sale websites is a dick move, but it's not the end of the world and it definitely doesn't change the main "feature" of the game continuing from its predecessors, which is stealing cars from the streets.

What I'm afraid is coming if the GTA community doesn't figure out to squash this is that Rockstar will start putting new vehicles only behind the GTA+ pay wall.
They'll start slow. If this works for them, then in the next DLC later this year they'll make half the cars available to be purchasable for everyone on day one of the DLC, but the other cars will drip feed one at a time exclusively to the Vinewood Car Club for a week or two. After that initial wall, the car will be available to everyone, but only for a single event week before going "Out of Stock." Then they'll drip feed the next car to the Vinewood Car Club for a week or two. Once a car goes "out of stock," it will only show up on the Lucky Wheel or the Prize Ride challenge. After a very, very long time they might- might- start showing up at the dealerships.
If that works, in the next DLC they'll put all the new cars on the "Vinewood Car Club" drip feed schedule. Once GTA 6 launches, any new cars added in DLCs will be the Vice City equivalent of the Vinewood Car Club exclusives. The only way non- GTA+ members will be able to get new DLC cars will be to wait for them to show up as prizes or rewards in whatever mini- games that GTA 6 has. Sometimes you might be able to get one as part of a story mission, like you did with the Last Dose missions to get the Virtue. That will give you one copy of it, but if you wanted to do additional builds of the same model, you'll be out of luck.

Something worth mentioning about the Auto Shop: you can enter ANYONE’S Auto Shop and buy the Customer Car(s) in the bay(s). I was just in my friend’s Auto Shop, and I was surprised when I was prompted to buy the customer car. All of this car removal is totally bogus, but my contribution here expands your options just a little further.

I logged onto Xbox One today, and none of the other Auto Shops had cars in their lifts. I went into the Auto Shops of friends and strangers alike, but no cars were present. It seems that this is new gen only. I doubt NOBODY had cars in their lifts.

The auto shops and bike shops, you can also by the ones at your friends shops as well. So if you have a group you can travel from shop to shop to find more vehicles

1. You can buy cars from the Auto Shop if they appear as a customer car

2. You can buy locked cars from other players from the LSCM. Only on Next Gen

they should have really just added a couple of new websites for the removed cars, seems like just a dumb thing to do to "streamline" it, just have a website for various classes like a website for SVU, pickups and offroad vehicles, one for regular cars like old sedans, hatchbacks, mini vans and none sporty regular cars in general and so on, like 2 or 3 new websites to would allow for a better organized way of doing things

The lie they had is really the cherry on top for me. "Instead of finding an actual better way to find what youre looking for, lets just limit the options that possibly include what you had trouble finding" -Rockstar, probably
The worst part about this is that its an active change that probably wont be reverted. Atleast in some other games, there will be an article from the devs discussing changes that they plan on adding in detail. But here, we lose so much content with from only a 1 sentence hint. And they rarely revert changes so its hopeless. (Yes, im watching from the sidelines and no longer play myself)

They named it vinewood car club from the name you would expect it somewhere to be near vinewood boulevard but no it's on the corner of the map of San Andreas

Yeah that is the biggest issue i have with this update, if you could sell cars on PC i would have become a "traveling car dealer" hopping lobbies and asking if there is some vaulted cars people are looking for. In a way this could have been good way to make community interact with each other but it kinda failed as not all platforms have the ability to trade vehicles.

Yep. And there's 2 methods to get it if you're not a GTA+ member. And it involves a glitch.
It can be done solo IF you own an Auto Shop with a Vagrant.
Or with a friend if you already own one that involves the Car Meet Sprint.
You just need to put a specific livery on the Vagrant to unlock the livery on the Seminole Frontier. Which I think is the 9th or 10th selectable livery.
I'll check as soon as I can as I did it on 2 of my accounts.
Update: The livery needed on the Vagrant to unlock the Livery on the Seminole Frontier is the 9th livery, or 10th option, as no livery is an option, and the livery on the Vagrant is called Urban Warrior

Im so sick of companies being so greedy nowadays and trying to pinch every single penny they can out of their customers wallets while removing content instead of adding it and expecting us to smile while we get screwed
I wish they would have told us what cars that they was going to remove therefore we would have been able to get the cars before they remove them.
I stopped playing after the last dlc and now after this one I probably won’t be coming back anytime soon.
Not so fun fact the threshold for "too hot" cars is from the panto to the OG comet since panto's almost never spawn in free mode no one counts it but I got one to spawm and it was "too hot" also rockstar just hates the og comet cuz they literally made the og comet 101K just a bit over the threshold.
Pantos spawn a lot, what are you talking about almost never spawning? I'm getting them pretty frequently, mostly ignoring them but they still spawn a lot.

If you dont own a autoshop you can enter othere players autoshops walk in and see what they have on their lifts but you will be able to purchase them also the land stalker has a hidden livery on it
its only like 15 cars

Honestly Rockstar just wants more money. They basically want you to spend money on shark cards to buy these cars. But I feel like they'll loose players as many basically don't wanna spend money on a shark card to buy these cars. Like if you agree If theyll be loosing players.
Rockstar was also banking on you guys having FOMO and buying as many cars as you could before they removed them
Honestly, this update finally got me to stop playing GTAO. I un-installed the day it came out when I heard just how many cars got removed. I'm not hating on anyone who will still play, I still kind of miss it, but I thought it just wasn't worth supporting these kinds of business practises from Rockstar anymore.

7 years of playing and I'm ready to uninstall the game myself. Saved Progress will remain in my console IF R* do better in the future- but that's highly unlikely.

You can purchase cars that spawn in your Auto Shop for "customers". Yesterday I acquired a Comet from my auto shop, and it isn't available on the web site anymore.

They could atleast remove the "Too hot" status of all off-the-street vehicles & give their insurance prices equivalent of their former retail prices... OG premium vehicles that you could see on the street have basically zero chance of being featured in any of the showrooms or as prizes because they are too cheap by today's standards by Cockstar...
Bad idea. So insurance would be of their original price then eh? But what about tracker? You could think of a reasonable price, but then there's the "I don't need to buy it, when I can drive it into my garage and it gets the tracker automaticaly" stuff. Also who needs insurance that badly, especially for cars, that are mostly meant as collector's stuff? Steal it from the street, drive to your garage, done. No money spent, R* doesn't approve. See? Not gonna happen. Never ever.

I've put up with their bullshit (shitty dlc's, price gouging cars, inability to make money in a decent amount of time, non-transferrable accounts) since the beginning. But they took it too far this time, Uninstalled it the other day. But I'll be dumb enough to buy Gta6 when it comes out!
So sad that we cant keep high end cars from the street like the bullet or coquette but this is a thing thats in gta online since day one so nothing new.
So get this guys. I bought that new gt stinger car when it came out. It's gone. I've looked everywhere and can't find it. That means I spent over two million for the car and almost a million to upgrading it. I've contacted their support but haven't heard anything yet. Smh

wrong not all the cars were removed if most of the cars were removed because of the GTA Plus then why is the Toreador is in the car club and that's a weaponized car. if you go to the car club the Toreador is part of the GTA plus membership. so it's obviously not that reason. and when they removed the cars from the site does that mean players has lost their cars too
Xbox players could also make group posts on gta looking for a particular car and could also trade removed cars. Also if anyone has the lost and dammed slamvan from the casino mystery wheelspin prize hmu i want to attempt to buy it from the car meet, i got alot of removed cars to offer as trade to
This is ridiculous. It's stupid. There's no reason to remove cars. They are too greedy. Idk if I'm going to buy gta 6 or any other new rockstar game coming out
I've bought 5 from my auto shop that were removed such as the comet, Hermes, and the nova look alike and Two others.
