I've made this a point of posting this on other channels because whenever I've noticed this misperception of the Song Girls 👧 💀 😂 😍 I've made it a point to post it. There are 3 distinct groups at USC which promote "#the Spirit of Troy," 1. The Song Girls- which aren't the Cheer Squad (though they are frequently mistaken for them) they perform at all USC pep rallies, football games, basketball 🏀 games and other athletic events as well. They are an extension but distinctly separate part of the USC Marching Band. They perform dance 💃 routines to very intricate choreography. 2. The USC Cheer Leading Squad- they are coed and compete in cheer leading competitions. 3. The USC Dance 💃 😍 Force- They have a very specific athletic/hip hop/funk based focus and perform at all basketball 🏀 games and I believe they rotate from men's to women's basketball 🏀 games to give a bit of relief to the Song Girls 👧 and Cheer Squad. They are very good as well.
@Sharkbait132 no offense, but the Marines don't have drill sergeants. We have Drill Instructors. The army has drill sergeants, but they Ain't Ready to be a Marine Yet.
Real boot camp does not end at 5, and it does not start at 9. In real bootcamp, when you sleep, you are still in training, going through the days drills, shouting commands in your sleep. I'm sure these girls work hard and all, but I could work 'em harder guaranteed.
This ain't the Marine Corps. There they drive recruits into the ground cuz a lot of them don't know what physical effort is, or what the right state of mind is, or what the right attitude is, or what teamwork is, and a lot of them never finished high school. These gals are all university students, and a lot smarter than that, and they are quite capable of getting into physical condition on their own or with minimal direction, doing it slowly to the same level builds an over all better quality physique with less strain and pain, as any fitness expert knows.
