Reminder to everyone that masks like this (or made of cardboard) are for *single* time use or for trying out 3D shapes/making a pattern for a proper upholstery foam (or EVA foam) base. Masks like this, when used more than once, will at the very best, fall apart in your hands due to getting wet from your sweat. At the very worst they will grow mold and can make you sick as a result. Stay furry and stay safe when crafting and costuming!
You can also use cardboard to make it sturdier but with both materials don't get your sweat or any liquid on it and that won't be good and it will become smelly and I don't recommend wearing it to a con.

Im not a professional furry but i think the way to smooth your mask is too cut some access paper that covers your neck and make a fur neck (cut some paper to make it look like fur glue it stick it to the mask btw you dont need to do that just cut the access paper and smooth the access paper to make it more smoothing) and for the nose make sure you make it big (big nose) trust me its necessary if you wanna make a smoothing mask and tape everything too (after coloring) and also make sure you poke the paper eyes if you wanna see while wearing the eyes (make tiny holes for it to see) anyways thats all!

It's hard and i can't fit in it even tho it's big for my head i make like 2 or 3 the first one is not a furry but a looky creature freak i decided not to work on it anymore second is a galaxy one it's turn out great i cut some holes under the eyes so i can see third is a green one it doesn't have name but SHE IS SO PRETTY when i wear it it doesn't fit so i use force and then i decided to take a picture to realize it's ugly so rip to green she doesn't fit her eye pop out when i use force Over all i became a furry! Paper furry 😭
