    If it was half the price, I'd be straight onto this. As it stands, it's far too much cash for what it is.

    The price is lunacy.

      People are starting to wish for simpler phones like this so they're being smart I guess lol.

      If people want to get a away from their satanic smart phone with this
      They’re making the wrong choice
      We still have .13 cent finances for flip phones

      @donpoulos 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      msul78 because you are cheap! It is a fair price , made in SWITZERLAND ! Go on with apple : 105 usd to make , 1500usd retail Hahahahahaha

    • @donpoulos
      @donpoulos 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jupiter Eye Obviously you are not their target. Salary in Apple’s factory in China is 150usd/month . Minimum wedge in Switzerland is 3300usd. Count.

    The exotic price justifies the awesome dark and sleek of this modern day feature phone.

    Looks nice, but given how basic it is, what justifies the price tag?

      if you think about it, a smart phone can run between 600-850$ retail price, phone companys just let you pay monthly for it or something else so you dont have to throw down all that $$ so a little under 300$ for this phone isnt un reasonable, just a little high considering the tech in it and what we are used to in 2017

    • @smorrow
      @smorrow 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Clean design, I guess.

    • @jeffreymac4915

      I know right? They have those “throw away” flip phones for $30 that do similar.

    • @smorrow
      @smorrow 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Designer _lamps_ cost ten times more than cheap lamps, too - and they don't "do more" to justify the price. But looks matter. Anyway, look up Artemide lamps.

    great for a spare phone. I think it should b 3G to support all four network operators. but I suppose. it's really ment to b as basic as possible

    • @Documentally
      @Documentally  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's 2G only. Found out the hard way by struggling to get a Three Mobile sim to work... Nope :)

    • @thisisjmx
      @thisisjmx 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeh No good for me. I'm with Three. I wouldn't say no to spending a week with a dumb phone though. I get through about 50 - 80 GB per month as I use my phone for everything. yes that is GB a month!!! [this month is 105GB so far with four days left ] It would be interesting to see how i deal with no Twitter, Showbox or TH-cam OnDemand. A Dumb phone with 3G would b great, but I could live with a 2G number I suppose.

    1:30 I do remember them, but not from making them on my iPhone. Unless...I'd ask if FaceTime counts, but you mean voice *only*, don't you?
    4:10 Isn't that a question of settings? Two more possibilities come to mind, but I don't want to sound disrespectful.
    By the way, you may want to watch this presentation: th-cam.com/video/0DusE1Hi_Yc/w-d-xo.html
    The sound is not the best, but the presentation is still interesting. Please read my comment on that video to get you near the start of the presentation.

    Can't even use the 3G network; all that money down the drain when they switch off 2G, if you wanted a dumbphone by a Samsung Galaxy Ace from 2011, so old now it can't do anything!

  • @cementplant3441
    @cementplant3441 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just wanted to add that the Nokia 3310 (new 3g version) looks as smart, runs as cleanly, and is built like a tank for like $50. It does all the same stuff that this hipster/rich person/suburban mom ripoff product does and more without being a smart device in any sense of the word. There's this whole fad of "detox from the smart world because a simple life is so much better... blah blah". I hate to break it to you....actually i'm quite happy to break it to you: Dumb phones like this existed from the late 80's till the dawn of the smart phone in 2009, and guess what, they still make them today for like $30. If you're willing to spend $230 on the exact same thing I bought brand new that came out last year for $50 then you're just a fool with your money. Thats as if I decided that Gordon Ramsey's spaghetti and meatballs were worth the $250 price tag when I can buy the same meal from my local diner for $10. Sure the flavour is different, but the nutrition is the same.

    • @Documentally
      @Documentally  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Connor Probeck this sentiment is also not new but I still respect your freedom of choice. I imagine the guy who first sold a polished rock also upset those who liked the simplicity of just picking them up off the beach. I still have the MP01. In fact I’ve carried it longer than any other phone I’ve owned. Even the 3310. I hope you enjoy your Nokia in the same way. My favourite phone of all time was the Nokia N95. I still have it somewhere. It was a total game changer.

      haha wow I wasn't expecting a channel owner reply, I was directing to your community more so, but thank you for the reply! I'm glad you enjoy your mp01, I really love my nokia 3310; I'm happy we both have the "take a break from smartphones and simplify life here and there" mentality. I hope more people will try it out for themselves in the future. Thank you for the reply and cheers!
