Ohhh...gorgeous hair! I'm 7 months in my with my microlocs (started with two strand twist and i maintain with a 2 point rotation because i love thickness). I know for sure I'm going to have some beautiful microlocs..because right now ...babayyyy...my hair is ear length and my hands can't stop playing with it. Plus the compliments about my hair can't done 😄😩🎊 I'm neverrrrrrrr going back to lose natural! Those who are at their breaking point of quitting ..stick with it. Your hair is going to surprise you in the long run ❤
Hi! I am so glad that you are enjoying your microlocs experience! I totally agree that locs are life changing, and I'm glad that you are enjoying your journey!
@@SpoonsStyle yes I am! I am actually about to purchase a fresh bottle because I am almost out again. My edges have grown like crazy since I've started using it so now I'm afraid to stop 😂
Congrats JOY❣️❣️❣️ You look Great! Wow! I am SO excited for you because I am 18 months and following you and your videos are inspirational and encouraging...I am looking forward to shoulder length hair..once again 🎊Congrats
Congratulations on your 3 yr Locaversary!! Your locs look great so nice with your pretty face. A lot of growth and flourishing. Love ❤️ your hang time. I’m 27 months Sisterloc’d established Nov 1 2020. I can’t wait for my 3 yr Locaversary to see the growth and loc transformation.
Yay that's exciting! I had a hard time deciding between both honestly. My advice is to look at your locticians portfolio and look at her clients loc size for both microlocks and sisterlocks. That might help you decide. Good luck!
@Mini_budgeter...Please do your research before you settle your decision.. locs are simply beautiful.. whatever you get but I'd tell anyone to do diligent research.. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER and will help you to make the right decision❣️
@@Gloria-xz7yk thank you for the tip. Thankfully the Loctian I chose, I had been following her Instagram since 2015 because even then I knew I want Locs, I just wasn’t ready for them yet so when I finally made up my mind I booked a consult 😊
@@JoyMorrisBeauty me as well Joy.. I knew nothing until I started researching and then I took notice to Sisterlocks and although similar..I saw some subtle differences that helped me choose. To me Sisterlocks is the "creme de le creme of the Loc universe 😂..I was on the verge of choosing microlocs..SO GLAD I chose Sisterlocks though❣️
Your hair looks amazing! Are you on a 2 or 3 point rotation? My loctition started me on a 4 point rotation because I have extremely course hair. However, she just switched me to a 3 point because a 4 point is too tight and doesn't allow for a lot of movement within each loc. I think I will be happier with the 3 point, but I was just curious because I love the density of your locs.
Hi thank you! I am on a 4 point rotation because I have some 4a but mostly 4c hair. It has been a great rotation for me. If you at my Sisterlock installation video by searching filtering for the popular videos on my page, you’ll be able to see my actual hair texture before I loced.
Wow. Your scalp does not look as if you have alopecia. I have androgenic alopecia and have been locked 4 years and you can see my thin crown still. Good luck on your journey and I just joined to follow. Your locks are beautiful
Hi thank you! Yes I was super shocked to be diagnosed. My dermatologist said that I am in a very early stage and I also have really thick hair so both of those factors are helping. I started noticing the crown of my hair getting a bit thinner when I crossed into my 30s but I never would have guessed alopecia. I don't know much about androgenic alopecia but I'll look into it. Good luck to you too and thank you for subscribing.
I wish you continued success with your locs.🙏 They have grown a lot and that is such a blessing especially since you have CCCA. That increases my hopefulness that I won't lose my length. I don't have locs. The first video I saw was your CCCA video. Since I was diagnosed on 28 Dec. last year I was looking at all the CCCA videos I could find. Some were a bit scary since I was diagnosed early as well, and I wondered if it would progress to the stages that I saw. I now understand that its progress can be halted by following my derm's advice and taking care of my scalp and nutrition. I have tailbone-length hair and I freaked out and worried a lot in the first few weeks because I thought I was going to have to shave my head, but I'm emotionally better now.
Thank you so very much! I wish and pray the same for you! Yes it is scary when you start researching! But earlier intervention seems to make a big difference in the outcome. Your hair sounds beautiful ❤️
@@JoyMorrisBeauty Thanks!💜 I used to think about growing longer. Now I just pray to keep what I have. Funny how life can change our perspective very quickly.
@@1GoldenBreeze yes definitely! And same here! I may not be able to reach the length what was my original goal, but I'll be happy with any length to keep my hair without bald patches

Beautiful- but be careful with color and alopecia 🤔
Thank you Michele. Yes I am still thinking about it and I haven't done anything yet. I'm just really tired of my gray hair.
