      @@JudithSanchez-ht6jn We follow Christ and pray for all Orthodox the fullness of the experience; after chrismation - I felt lacking in leaving behind the former life. So, after prayer, I found a bishop who would baptize me and after (felt completely new in the true faith) then slipped back into parish life without speaking of it and not offending the priest who has to answer to his Bishop. The bishops are the problem here...the Laity know better since "rules" do not save us, but the Holy Mysteries of Christ bring salvation in the Holy Spirit.

    does Orthodox Church in US use English? Even in Russia don't use Russian everywhere in Orthodox Church. Usually church-slavic language uses. How holy text was translated? Does they mean exactly what mean in original protogreek language?

    • @INFJPhilosopher
      @INFJPhilosopher 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Most churches in the US mainly use English, but some Churches will also speak the typical cultural language of that particular church. The language that is translated from the Greek Septuagint and the New Testament will reflect the original meaning of the text. Though some nuanced may be lost in those translations, the priests will have an opportunity to explain those nuances in their sermons and teachings.

    This is what heresy looks like in moralistic people who come near but do not trust in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.
