I went to 3 different scooter repair shops in my city and the mechanics all told me to stay away from Voro. One shop mechanic literally pointed his finger and showed me a line of 5 Emove cruisers he’s fixing one by one. He told me Voro is one of those company that uses cheap parts on their scooters and sponsorships to sell their products.

Lol i like my emove but every part has been breaking down from the breaks the screws all fall out especially from around the stem lock which is dangerous it doesn't have a 2nd safety feature to keep the stem in place i had to place a band around that to keep it secure besides that i had no electrical or motor problems its pretty good if you just just patch up all the problems yourself since things break in life but then again you shouldn't have to but its whatever it has its ups and downs

I have had similar issues with mine since I’ve purchased in November 2021. Voro motors doesn’t care. My scooter completely shut down on me. They blame it on being wet, claiming I had water in the deck. Which is insane, because I never used in rain or wiped it down ever! It stays in my car trunk. They charged me 75 for labor ( tighten screws) and a 35 service fee. To have to bring it back in two weeks later. Buyer beware!!

I ordered it and had it in my possession five days later. Great customer service. Very happy riding it. I love it. I'm so bummed for this guy's experience. Obviously he would have been better off with a massive dual motor scooter, something more suited to his (what appears to be) rough and tumble riding. I have a Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11+ (also from Voromotors) but after just a few miles I discovered it's a bit too fast and powerful for me at the moment but it is perfectly suited for future, aggressive off-road riding. Meanwhile my new eMove Cruiser "S" is perfect! People, don't give up on Voromotors. They've made the necessary improvements in this new 2023 S model and they're working so hard to please customers. Than I tried to post my experience on Emove owners facebook group which turned out to be very shady because moderators denied my post which makes me think they are censoring negative experiences. Some review companies are also sponsored by them and say only positive things about the scooter which makes me wonder if they tested it toroughly. After I posted few comments about the issues I have esperienced someone from Voromotors contacted me via email offering to fix things for me but I have to pay for it. • @paolosstore
    @paolosstore 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

I also can not and would not recommend this scooter. Here is my experience after 6 months:
I purchased my Emove Cruiser in Nov 2021 online from the shop in LA. It arrived in NYC with issues. Missing screws, loose screws, wires too short which would disconnect. The front brakes needed to be replaced. This began a continual series of issues and problems with the scooter, both minor and major. (Noted below)
While the shop in Brooklyn did try to mitigate these issues, I had to cajole and push them to do so. They continually tried to shirk responsibility, and sometimes did not correct an issue or it left the shop with new issues. I don't believe Voro Motors is out there intentionally trying to screw people. I do believe they don't want to stand behind their product, and do not have the right trained technical repair staff, nor use good parts or a good build. They often suggested it was my riding style which caused the problems. For clarity, I ride it in the bike lanes here in NYC to commute to and from work.
After the scooter arrived and they fixed the first issues, the front wheel and shocks and shock mount fell right off after the bolt holding the shock mount the frame sheared off. This was after repeatedly informing both Brooklyn and LA shop that the scooter felt unsafe and too wobbly, in spite of frequent tightening of screws. They assured me everything was ok. Spoiler alert: It was not. As noted, the entire front wheel and shock section fell off, and they replaced it.
The rear wheel went flat and after finding no leaks, a local, well respected scooter shop told me the wheel was rubbing against the rim and causing it to deflate. I took it to Brooklyn, informed them of the issue. They disagreed with the assessment. However, the tire was flat and has no leaks. They inflated the tire. Spoiler alert, it went flat again a few weeks later.
I've had to replace the rear brakes three times, without having ridden the scooter much from Nov-March. Again, the shop suggested I was riding the brakes the too hard. I can tell you I was using the brakes in a natural, standard way while driving the scooter in a bike lane.
The battery failed. This is after I told them it wouldn't hold a charge, I brought it to the shop, and they told me it held a charge for them. I took it home, the battery wouldn't hold a charge! I took it back to shop, they called me a few days later to say they have more experienced battery techs now and indeed have confirmed the battery has failed.
And now lastly, the front tire and shocks feel way too loose and unsafe again. I feel strongly all these issues are due to poor parts, bad build and bad tech. This scooter clearly can not be used in regular use on regular city roads. In fact, after all this, the company has informed me that this $1500 scooter that can go 25MPH should not be ridden on uneven roads as that can damage the scooter. They also told me I was free to sell it to someone else If I was dissatisfied. All in all a very disappointing, exasperating situation, made more so by a company that has be to dragged along just to honor basic responsibility for repairs and service.
I do not and can not in good conscience recommend this scooter or the company service.

Thanks for posting this video. It makes me feel I am not alone on facing these issues with Voromotors. HORRIBLE customer service and warranty policy. They normalize unsafetiness and insecureness. It shouldn´t be normal that screws break or fall apart while you are riding. And much more. The videos of positive reviews might be true but for the first month or so.

Daniela, I am bummed this happened to you and also a bit relieved to know it really isn't just me. The customer service in Brooklyn was constantly suggesting it was my riding style that caused problems, or that having to tighten the screws before every ride was normal, or even that the fact that it felt like it was going to fall apart our from underneath me was just "regular give." I bought mine in Nov. Have had consistent severe issues, including the front tire and shocks falling right off as the nut holding the shock mount to neck sheared right off. Voro has been really tough to deal with. Yesterday, they emailed me to tell me I was free to sell the scooter if I was unhappy. So so bad. Its been terrible. :/

@@paolosstore I hear you exact same experience. It’s always my fault. Last Wednesday picked up my scooter at BK facility. $330 in repairs, bought new controller, electric wires … etc because according to them that was needed. About 10 miles riding the scooter and exact same issues as before. I bring it back on Saturday and the controller was broken again with water damage when I only rid the scooter once and no rain. They didn’t replace it but said that it was my fault and that it’ll break again because it had water damage??? I had just bought a new one supposedly. I really think that either they lie to the customers and don’t replace things or they have really bad quality stuff and accessories.
They told me that if I didn’t pick up the scooter in 15 days they’ll charge my card $20 per day for storage lol. It’s just insane. People, PLEASE!!! Don’t buy from this company. It’s a nightmare

@@danielacardona7160 Ugh, I'm really sorry to hear that. Something isn't right with that shop and company. I've been considering filing a report with the AG here in NY. Not to create any problems for them per se, but I keep hearing the same issues from Cruiser owners and if it's possible (which I think is likely) that Voro knows they are using faulty parts, cheap parts, and/or are knowingly selling scooter that they know can't handle regular use in an urban environment, I feel like it might be good to at least make a complaint with the AG and get it on record, to help build documentation for future cases if anyone also does the same.

Ive sent it back like 4 or 5 times because everything keeps breaking down, from controller issues to brake problems, motor issues, ball bearings, etc. And now battery. Worse investment of my life. I have done no maintenance on kaabo at all, no mechanical issues, no loose bolts. Cover for back tyre on emove only 1 bolt holding it in place, despite me using loctite on most of the emove screws. Single brake on kaabo works better than 2 brakes on emove.

Hey dude, its called thermal paste. Never trust the vendors. They dont know everything like an everyday rider myself. The controller should be covered in tgermal paste as the entire scooter is the heatsink. But the manufacturers never finish the process and the dealers know nothing asode whatever you learn about riding a scooter for an hour which is nothing. Whereas i rode my zero 10x for 1600 miles through ny winter and everything. 2400 on my kaabo mantis was stolen. I dont know why you would still trust voromotors still knows as thdy have been wrong 5 times in a row. If youre going to own an item like this, learn your shit because the only person you can rely on is yourself. Nobody knows cause they dont use them every single day. Nobody. Trust me. Its called thermal paste. Think of how retarded the whole thing is now just cause voro is full of shit. If you arent up to the challenge to repair these then never buy them. Youre hoping somebody or the insurance has your back. These arent cars, these are alien technology as you could fool anyone and nobody that is selling these are using tbem every day. Mechanics drive cars every day but these guys arent driving the scooters like cars. Thats the difference nobody thinks about. Im the only guy who really knows on here. Sad watching you all blow your money in ignorance.
