    he was "a more laid-back" Errol Flynn. ... but every bit as dangerous. this was a man who did all he could to live on his own terms.

    Regarding the reefer bust, it helped rather than hurt him because it fit his image. You can do anything, like Letterman using his staff as a harem, if it fits your image. What destroyed Godfrey when he fired Julius LaRosa was that it ran contrary to his avuncular image. Can't believe A.C. Lyles doesn't realize this in this documentary.

    I love how the woman was about to describe his walk, and I thought she would say something like a slow, sensual walk, but she said like a Panther, and I thought, that is a perfect descriptive word to describe it. His son Chris, looks identical to his dad.

    His career survived caused he took it like a man and accepted his mistakes the current actors should take a lesson from him

    True. But I think honesty goes a long way too, think of Hugh Grant. If you take responsibility for your actions people are more forgiving.

    He was a great actor,indeed! And,apparently,like Bill Clinton...he didn't inhale that weed!
