Yes you can download those apps. First you need to enable developer mode (i have a video on that). Then search and install "Send files to tv" to both the chromecast and your phone. Open the app and allow the permision to storage. Now transfer your apk file on the tv and turn the unknown sources. (It will show you how). I will make a video on that. Edit: The first way i told you does not work. This method does.

Yes, you can cast your computer browser, phone and ipad to your chromecast.(to connect your computer to the chromecast you will need to use the chrome browser, to cast your android phone turn on the screencast option, depending on your phone, and to connect your iphone and/or ipad you will need to install google tv, that is it). Keep in mind that you can't cast all of them at the same time. (tho i think you knew that already)
