It never ceases to amaze me that people are able to ride waves like these and live to tell the tale. Those waves look like the angriest things that I have ever seen.

The reef was above the water as well, so it's twice the chance your going to hit that reef

These beasts are definitely mesmerizing nightmare material. I don't know how many times my reaction was "Oh my God! Oh Geez!" Then I couldn't help but imagine seeing these monsters at night with lightning flashing in the background. Great jobs by all of the videographers. I could never, ever do their work.

I think it's The Right in WA. That makes sense with the Indian ocean swell. Both have that slab effect.
