In fairness, I don't think Oswald was originally from Dallas, and given the large crowds on the sides of the road waiting to see him, the comment was accurate. Mrs. Vonnelly had no way of knowing that it would turn out to be the most ironic statement she'd ever made.

My history teacher was there when Kennedy got assassinated, he told me Mrs. Kennedy was on the back hood collecting brain fragments from shock. That was the only story I still remember from history class up until now

Oliver Stone himself admitted he used artistic license and included every known conspiracy theories in one character, Jim Garrison. The jury of the actual trail took 75 minutes to return a not guilty verdict. 75 minutes included leaving the courtroom, possibly bathroom breaks, consider the evidence and return. I know I’m gonna sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist, but the main thing about this situation that bugs me is the fact that Oswald was conveniently silenced before any information could be extracted from him.
Oswald apparently actually sucked at shooting at the same time using a rifle and ammunition that were outdated before WW1. It’s laughable that Oswald is considered the only killer. Additionally Carlos Hathcock, a man widely considered to be one of the best snipers ever tried to recreate the act and couldn’t despite trying many many times.

Bother watching the entire clip and you would have seen he only says he is a patsy in relation to being hassled by cops for having lived in Russia, and in fact he never attempted to blow any conspiracy to anybody.
Lee Harvey Oswald actually tried to save President Kennedy's life, by writing down the information that he was privileged to have gotten, and actually went to the FBI Office, found an Agent, by the last name of Hosty, and gave him the paper, which had the information on it.
What did Agent Host do?
He took that piece of paper, that had the potentially life-saving information on it, went into the nearest Bathroom, tore that piece of paper up, threw it in the Toilet, and flushed the Toilet...
Thereby sealing President Kennedy's fate!

Funny fact:
When the leadership of the USSR found out that Kennedy was assassinated, they immediately started freaking out thinking one of their agents killed him. They were momentarily relaxed when they found out it was an American, but then started freaking out again when they found out that Oswald used to live in Russia and was at the Russian embassy in Mexico, weeks before the Assassination.
And extra information:
According to the house select committee of Assassinations formed in 1976, that was created to investigate the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr. They discovered that the CIA had PURPOSEFULLY withheld information from the Warren commission during their investigation, and they concluded that the assassination of JFK was the result of a conspiracy theory and not that Oswald and Ruby were acting alone.

The evidence shows it was Oswald acting alone and Ruby acting alone.
The Carcano is NOT a rifle "known for being imprecise" it's actually a good rifle (considering it's design is from the 1920s) there is also a version with the barrel built by German gunsmith company Manliker and the Manliker-Carcano is actually considered a very good precision bolt-action rifle and is still used here in Europe for deer and large game hunting.
It was a 66 yard shot, going away and descending from the snipers perch. An easy shot with a rifle with iron sights. A very easy shot with a scoped $19.95 rifle ( properly sighted in). Shot to head came from fence along grassy knoll, contrary to the Warren Commission Comic Book.

At first I was convinced there had to be a shot from the front due to the visual on film showing Kennedy's head go "back and to the left". But a lot of forensic experts have done the tests (some of them put to film) and confirmed that it was possible for a head to go "back and to the left" if shot by a sniper from behind.

This happens at frame nos. 312-313. The initial forward movement confirms a shot from behind, which is consistent with the forensic evidence.

@@Gooddealsgalore No, it wouldn't make any sense for it to be Menendez. He wasn't even mentioned in the first game, I don't think. Menendez was first appeared in the very first mission of Black Ops 2. Besides, Menendez wanted to dismantle the Western powers, sure, but he wouldn't straight up assassinate the President in the open. His style was more of a guerrilla warfare type; use the enemies weapons against them.
Dragovitch, Kravchenko, and Steiner used Mason as a sleeper cell to get him to kill Kennedy. Hence, when Secretary McNamara invites Mason to meet with President Kennedy, Mason has visions of putting a gun to JKF's head, before snapping out of it. And it's why Dragovitch's last words were "Tried?". Thankfully, Captain Reznov reverse brainwashed Mason into believing that those three "men" must die for the actions they have caused. Hence why Mason kept seeing Reznov with him on his missions; he was brainwashed into thinking he and Reznov would not rest until those three died, and is why Reznov and all the numbers disappeared after Woods kills Kravchenko in Black Ops 2.
There is a book about this event called High Treason. I would recommend it to anyone curious about this. The angle from where Oswald was and how the bullets actually struck Kennedy simply don’t match. Just one discrepancy. Read the book, you’ll have serious doubts about what the public was fed.

"Back and to the left" is a BS explanation perpetuated by the film JFK. It has no basis in ballistic science and is easily disprovable. Kennedy's head exploded from the second bullet, and the exit wound so severe the force of ejecting matter throws his head backwards.
Nobody can convice me that Oswald made those shots by himself after all the new evidence that has come to light.
All credible medical, forensic, ballistic, eyewitness and film evidence clearly demonstrate the shots all came from the sixth floor window, and from Oswald's rifle.

Every time I have seen Jack Ruby's face while reading about the assassination, I get annoyed. Jack Ruby deprived us of finding out the truth. No doubt Oswald would have eventually cracked and revealed something, if something was there to reveal. Oswald was already starting to crack while in police custody. That is why Ruby killed him. Whoever directed Ruby to kill Oswald didn't want Oswald to start talking.

If you think some rando conspiracy theorists are capable of altering facts about the most publicized event in the 20th century, you ironically are nuts. People knew shady stuff was up even the month it happened. It isn't like history was altered, it was that the facts were ignored.
My personal opinion is that the military setup the murder mainly because Kennedy was a disastrous president, nearly throwing us into a nuclear war and ruining a lot of other military campaigns. I think enough of the leadership decided enough was enough, and decided to "frag" Kennedy, the same way some soldiers were known to frag incompetent military officers.

My dad told me this story once. He was in school with his class watching the parade on TV, when he was shot, everyone screamed. The teacher turned off the TV and the class was over. He already knew my mom at this time so after school was over he talked to her about it.
It wasn't really a parade, it was a drive between locations where JFK was to have dinner and give a speech. People just gathered around to see the president, but it wasn't televised, and the footage of the assassination wasn't aired. The only known recordings of it were from home movie enthusiasts who happened to take their 8mm cameras to see the motorcade that day.
