Great video. I’m so glad I found this. I just tried out a first pass at fixing my suspension with a 3dpart inspired by your solution. I’m now waiting for 2.0 to finish printing. I love this kind of thing. I was searching on eBay for a suspeion upgrade or something, but this is better than off the shelf. I’m excited to see what else you do in other videos. New subscriber.
Always had a soft spot for the Unimog! Had a Dickies Toys one and let it go before I got into crawlers wish still had it now as they cost mega bucks nowadays!
This is a really unique one and I love the axles on it. The rest is a good start and it will be cool to see what they come up with for later generations.
I do love the portals, the body is outstanding and the overall build quality is good. Like my WPL cars, I love having 2 speeds in them so they can inch along slowly and then cruise at a walking speed.
So cool. Can you fit a 6" action figure in there like we do with the Wpl d12? I'm glad the doors open so it makes me want to buy it to take pictures with action figures.

The c24 tires are the way to go. I am holding off on a gearbox swap until I try dual motors but that 2 speed from WPL is such an awesome one. I wonder if it will fit? The C34 may be the way if not.
This is a generic chassis i presume. I have given up with companies putting the correct suspension on a car. Tamiya & Traxxas with the new bronco and solid axles?
Alberto, I'm really curious if you've heard of ScaleArt's Unimog. If not, you've got to check it out. It's priced well outside the budgetary grasp of the average hobbyist but holly hot damn does it look divine.

Yeah this thing needed some work. I just completed testing of the second version of this truck and I am blown away by how they updated it.
Duel 370 motor's has been great with the 2 speed gear upgrade also I'm loving the LDR/C P06
I ordered the second motor and the 2 speed. Cant wait to get them in.

That is a very lovely model. And even has functional portal axles!
They just showed me what is coming soon to this....what they are going to add does not exist at this scale.
Dan over at Van City RC just recently got one of these and did the dual motor conversion to it, and it made a turd into a great little trail truck

I think it well suited with wpl c34 gearbox considering the gearbox small size, as for tires maybe c24 look good too
