Foreigner is my absolutely FAVORITE group, & I think Kelly Hansen is THE BEST vocalist. He hits every note, & he OWNS the stage when he's on it. And he is not shy about giving credit to the fellow group members & not hogging it all to himself. Mick Jones found a superb replacement for Lou, who was a great vocalist in his day. Joe Bonamassa and his band do a great job mixing classic Blues Rock and Saxophone and Trombone ... I highly recommend listening to his band or going to see a concert of his.

Jeff Pilson's musicianship has always impressed me, his Basswork inspires mine, and his enthusiasm as a musician puts him right up there in my top 10 influences as a true natural on the bass.
I am 59 yrs old and absolutely still love Foreigner. I was fortunate enough to see them in Ottawa, Canada of Aug/85 with Joe Walsh as back up. "I want to know what Love is", is one of my favorite songs. Great vid ... good memories!! cheers
Reading all these comments, why does one singer have to be better than the other? Can't we just be happy that Foreigner are wrapping up their career with their dignity intact ( yes, I realize that Mick is the only original member left)? I remember seeing Kelly with Hurricane in 1988 (yes, Im that old). I remember thinking this guy is WAY bigger than the average front man. Even then, he knew how to respond to a crowd. He had frontman written all over him. I was/am so happy for his success. He friggin earned it. He's also been nothing but respectful of Foreigner's history. That being said, Lou is the originator, he (and Mick) crafted these great songs that will on well after we're all long gone. Can you give the world a greater gift? So, I can care less who sings better and in what key. They're both amazing vocalists and musicians. Just be happy for the music.

Love this band since they came out! Mick Jones can write a song that is timeless!! If you don't agree, you are not listening! This band is a prime example of a band that had huge radio play and almost nobody knows who wrote the songs? Well, true Foreigner do!! It's good to see that Mick can still play the crap out of his guitar. Mick Jones and his band were my guitar teachers along with AC/DC etc.. Thank you for helping me be the player I am today! I'm 57. Still playing heavy music to this day. Metallica, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, all the greats!! Thank you Mick for being an early influence on me,,, You are AWESOME!!

Ranked one of the absolute best performances by Foreigner, nothing short of what rock-n-roll is meant to be. I've seen Foreigner live in the past the band packed with so much energy there's never a dull moment in any of their performance. Thank you Mick Jones.
I saw Foreigner way back in 1977 in Wilmington NC. They were brand new then.... The original foreigner was king of the radio in so many ways, especially given the number of awesome artist of that time. I think Kelly does an awesome job filling Lou's shoes... His respect for Lou Gramm is clear, he has said so many times in public.. Lou's tumor took a tremendous toll on him. What I find amazing is that when Foreigner re-recorded many of their original material, they left 99% of it identical.. I credit this to Mic... Thankyou Mic for keeping the original sound intact.... They are still a class act... Here is hoping that they venture my way again.....

i was skeptic the moment Hansen left his former band Hurricane to join Foreigner because it was weird for me seeing a great rock singer like him fronting an adult oriented rock band, but im really glad he pulled it off, hes awesome in Foreigner and the band sounds incredibly tight as well... id love to see them live again soon in vegas.

I don't think Kelly has his own style. I was listening to the concert while I was working, I wasn't watching the video, and it seems that I was listening to Lou. Do the test!
@Oscar González Muñoz I just listened to about 80% of the concert and I can tell it's not Lou but it is very close and a good portion of the time he does sound just lime Lou. I never thought Lou Graham could replaced but obviously I was wrong. This performance is so good that I wonder if he is not better live than Lou. I have never seen them live so my only point of reference are studio albums.
Let's face it - time takes its toll, people get older, the music lives on and Mick had done what is necessary. He can pick some amazing musicians. Very lucky these great songs are still being performed by such exceptional talented men.
I agree anyone who ever takes a shot at Kelly is nuts. First off Lou Graham can't do long world wide tours anymore. His health won't allow it. From what I can see him and Mick have buried a lot their past issues but there will never a Lou and Mick tour ever again. I'm thankful Mick still has his health to continue touring each year and letting fans hear these great songs. It's No freaking cover band. Mick wrote or Co wrote basically every Foreigner hit .

Oh my god "Say You Will" was over the top. I listened to Foreigner so much when I was young that these songs are ingrained in my mind forever. Every word, every guitar stroke, every drum beat.

Back in the 1970s when the DJ at our SU disco nights played Foreigner I couldn't stand it. But, hey! They've stood the test of time and those old rockers are maestros of their art. Good on you guys. I'm now a fffffff ffffff foreigner fff fan!
I fell in love with Foreigner when I was just a little boy back in the 70s. It is 2020 and the band still sounds fantastic !!! Totally miss Lou Gramm. Kelly's Hansen has a great style of his own and Mick Jones the genius behind it all, a true Rock Legend.

Thank you for giving this back to us fans. I've searched so long for this live performance that I once had on my DVR and miss it terribly. The acoustic set is so good even though this recording did not have everything in it.

I saw Foreigner July 20 th in Houston and they are BADASS band, Excellent and Powerful🤘👍👏

Vocals are right on the money, great lead singer, sounds just like Lou but with his own style too. Really enjoyed this, bought back good memories
I don't think Kelly has his own style. I was listening to the concert while I was working, I wasn't watching the video, and it seems that I was listening to Lou. Do the test!

I just listened to about 80% of the concert and I can tell it's not Lou but it is very close and a good portion of the time he does sound just lime Lou.
I never thought Lou Graham could replaced but obviously I was wrong. This performance is so good that I wonder if he is not better live than Lou. I have never seen them live so my only point of reference are studio albums.

Let's face it - time takes its toll, people get older, the music lives on and Mick had done what is necessary. He can pick some amazing musicians. Very lucky these great songs are still being performed by such exceptional talented men.
I agree anyone who ever takes a shot at Kelly is nuts. First off Lou Graham can't do long world wide tours anymore. His health won't allow it. From what I can see him and Mick have buried a lot their past issues but there will never a Lou and Mick tour ever again. I'm thankful Mick still has his health to continue touring each year and letting fans hear these great songs. It's No freaking cover band. Mick wrote or Co wrote basically every Foreigner hit .
If Mick had axed Lou in 1984 and put Kelly in at that point, then all these whiners on here would have a case

Oh my gosh my daughters went but they sound just like they did when I was young. These guys are a class act!!! So wish I could have seen them!!!! But also happy to see another generation loving their music ❤️
I didnt get to see LG with F, he is a top voice ,ALLWAYS loved forighner ", with or without the spelling , TOO many good crews ,, Y&T ,BOWIE , THE COOP , GOOD VOICE ,! Loved them , me older brothers n sisters had the real vinyl, SWEET , THANKS HEAPS .

Actually is Lou Gramm - born Louis Andrew Grammatico - but you are right: Lou Gramm and Mick Jones was Foreigner! They both will remain in the Book of Music History. Respect, Kelly, Hansen a powerfull voice, but you have been born too late for... real Foreigner.

Oh my god "Say You Will" was over the top. I listened to Foreigner so much when I was young that these songs are ingrained in my mind forever. Every word, every guitar stroke, every drum beat.

Wow, fantastic, reminds me of being 18 in my Nova SS with my girlfriend. What good times they were listening to Foreigner, Van Halen, Journey etc. and going to concerts........fond memories!

Back in the 1970s when the DJ at our SU disco nights played Foreigner I couldn't stand it. But, hey! They've stood the test of time and those old rockers are maestros of their art. Good on you guys. I'm now a fffffff ffffff foreigner fff fan!

I fell in love with Foreigner when I was just a little boy back in the 70s. It is 2020 and the band still sounds fantastic !!! Totally miss Lou Gramm. Kelly's Hansen has a great style of his own and Mick Jones the genius behind it all, a true Rock Legend.

Thank you for giving this back to us fans. I've searched so long for this live performance that I once had on my DVR and miss it terribly. The acoustic set is so good even though this recording did not have everything in it.
