- This video shows how change the Trailmanor 2720 front sofa to a sofa bunk bed that allow to sleep at to 4 people on front of the recreation vehicle (RV) or convert to a dinner for 6. The bunk bed on front instead of the original sofa bed allows sleeping at to 6 people in a 2720 Trailmanor with one more extra person sleeping between the bottom bed on the floor.
This was a great conversion. It is durable and last forever. You are gifted!
Wow this looks so cool. I need 4 beds in that area and was wondering how to make it work. Thanks you!
Genius... perfect.
Excellent idea. I was thinking of getting an older Trailmanor 3326 King and this idea might work since I need it to sleep about 7 people. Thank you for sharing. I recognize your channel name. Your video on using the scissor jack with wood as a jack stand has been working well for me. Do you still have the Trailmanor in the video?
This is very clever! Do you know how much weight is added to the trailer by the conversion? I have an idea to try replacing the sofa with a trifold queen foam foldout and putting slats across the side ledges to support a high quality air mattress, extending the foldout mattress underneath, creating a queen size bunk bed. But the slats would need a center support and I haven't figured that part out yet. You have done the coolest thing I've ever seen on these conversions so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this plan.
Hi, I not sure about the weight but I think is less or equal to the sofa removed and the sofa chair that I don't use any more.
I don't get the all picture of what you want to do but send me a message to the channel and I will glad to help you.
You have inspired us! Where did you get the cushions?

Was it easy to remove the furnace? I’m thinking about doing the same but I’m afraid to mess everything up because I know there are a lot of cables running under the seat
Remove the furnace is easy. It comes up in one piece. You have to remove the gas line and put a plug outside by the propane tanks. The cables that control the furnace on and off I put tape on it and pull out to outside to hide under the RV frame. Just in case future use. There is also an AC plug that I put it inside electric box and provides power to that area.
Are you selling the plans or anything?
No, I just selling my ideas for anyone to use for free.
What did you do with your furnace?
I have the sofa and the chair in my garage.
I removed the furnace and put it away just in case but this is a summer RV. The AC unit also works as a heat pump.
