"What would your daddy want you to do?"
"I want him here to tell me."
That had some tears flowing.
Kaitlyn Dever has got to be one of the best young actors of our time....when I watch her on justified I see Loretta not an actress playing her to me that's the sign of a great actor......Respect
I've seen her in other stuff before but I'm only getting around to Justified now, she absolutely blew me away with this scene. Incredible actress.
I agree. Once I saw her in Justified, I knew she was going to excel as an actress. And I was right. BTW, Mags is a fine actress in her own right.
Acting opposite two real first-rate actors and completely holding her own.
She’s going to be in the next season of The Last of Us as Abby.
I like that when Loretta lowers the gun, Mags doesn't look relieved. She just looks sad. Her regrets for her choices keep piling up on her
Yup. She wasn't scared of dying here. She was scared of what it would do to Loretta if she killed her, of how it would corrupt her and turn her into a monster. You can see that she legitimately loved Loretta. Even twisted and warped people have a soul.
How would it turn her into a monster? Yeah, it won't fix things and they would lock her up for avenging someone. But one bad act rarely makes someone a monster. Not sure why people think it's totally wholesome that only monsters defeat monsters. Like there's enough time in one's life to wait for that day.@@jonathonpolk3592
Such a great scene in the show's best season.
I can't argue with your opinion because I love this season too, but I don't think I can compare seasons. Season 4 was great as were 1 and 6. Season 5 is the only season that I didn't think was great. Although it had it's moments
Both the actresses in this scene are very good. Alot of good acting in Justified overall.
This scene was top.
Mags Martindale.... Amazing....
That's a moving scene ...
Whoa, they got Margo Martindale in this? Now I have to watch the show
Justified fans often cite her season (Season 2) as the show's best overall.
Season 2 was the best season because of Margo and Jeremy Davies
Margo was great in Your Honor with Bryan Cranston !! 👌👏
Of course you have to watch the show, best gift you'll ever give yourself.
Margo Martindale is a phenomenal actress.
Its not gonna so smoothly the next time Kaitlyn Dever plays someone out to get revenge for her father.
Mags got off easy..
Mags had to watch her entire world crumble around her as her misery increased and the walls closed in.
For about 10 mins she did....she and Raylan had a snort afterward...it was a significant shot of apple pie shine....let's call it that.

Big surprise this girl turned out to be poison anyway
Can you blame her? She grew up in Harlan Boyd, Mags, Ava, and even Raylan have done things they’re not proud of.
Must be something in the water
