I almost feel like there is a respect between Raylan and Duffy when there are scenes between them and I've always appreciated that.

Because they both have respect of not involving each other officially in business which they both know would muck everything up and create a discourse as opposed to having a rapport with the individual which is more fruitful than a violent outcome

"Next time we have this conversation... it won't be a conversation" OH MAH GAWD how is he so cool. And also when he dropped the bullet on him and said "Next one's comin' faster". This show is a goldmine for the coolest one-liners... that I would never use in real life because I'm not a tough guy

Duffy is one of the all time best characters on Justified. Next one's comin' faster is an iconic line! Even the cop in a later episode is like... that's the coolest thing i've ever heard lol.

Gary: You have any idea what's it's like to think of her being with you?
Raylan: I think I know exactly what that's like.
    LMAO, Ice cold Raylan.

Timothy Olyphant played the perfect Raylan Givens. The dialogue between him and Boyd Crowder was perfect any time the two had a scene together. I’m sure this show wasn’t the big deal it was for us here in Eastern Ky but i think it was very underrated.

Extremely underrated. HWood hates Timothy Olyphant because he’s pro 2A. Kinda how they hated Charlton Heston or any conservative really
Year after year they passed him up for an Emmy

@devilsephiroth9000 I'm addicted for sure. My cousin said I should also try Deadwood. I've heard of it but never seen it. He said he's essentially the same character but there is an unnecessary ridiculous amount of cussing. 😱🤣🤣🤣

At some point they just overplayed these interactions and Duffy turned more into a pet for meme talks. It took out all suspension. But the dialog was great

It took me awhile to find out that Gary tried to get Raylan killed by Duffy's hitmen. How crazy is that! Gary's a dumb ass..

I don't like cop shows and true crime dramas, and I have a real hard on about Kentucky hollers from my youth...but I love Justified. Walton Goggins is a brilliant actor. He ain't "Boyd."

I’m not much for true crime shows and never find myself rooting for the cop. Raylan was half a step from being an outlaw so he wasn’t your average cop. Walter Goggins is one of the greatest actors I have seen on any show. I do think he played a great Boyd Crowder tho. The dialogue between him and Raylan was perfect.
Why don’t you like hollers? I don’t live in Harlan Co but I live in a county that borders it.

Oh, I do love the countryside, the land that Daniel Boone was so awestruck by. My aversion stems from the savage hardships of the people who lived there. I had very good friends, 3 brothers from them hollers, who lived half the year up North with me and the other half down there with their miserable, violent pappy, and whenever they came back up here, it would always take them a few weeks to adjust again.
My sweet old mom grew up in North Carolina in the 30s and 40s, and I spent every summer visiting my grandfolks still trapped down there in the 60s and early 70s. I know the South, especially that Appalachian corner of it. It has always seemed to me the story of good people trapped in a nasty, unnatural cultural landscape.
