Do you stay in the Tek sleeping pod overnight so you don't lose food/water? A normal wooden chair will do that too (just learned this today and I have like almost 1.8k hours in the game).
Edit: Just a correction for what I said previously - sitting in a chair prevents your food from dropping, but *not* your water - it will continue to drain, albeit at a slow rate.
Yeah we use the sleeping pods make sure we don’t lose food and water but we also gain XP passively
I always have a chair on my taming raft so I can sit and wait without worrying about food.
It doesn't have to be on wander to generate paste on the ground, also if you have 30 plus snails the gacha doesn't have time to eat pasta

Sorry but I dont understand, i just need to put rocks so they can't move while moving and im just waiting that they produces the things ?
Yes, putting enough of an item in their inventory will encumber them. Then they won’t move if they are set to wander. If you’re not worried about collecting the extra paste from the achatina you don’t have to worry about putting them on wander. The gacha will still collect the paste from the ground.
Any ideas why this isnt working in single player with 45! achatina? This used to work for me about 8 months ago with around 30 snails but now I am at a loss for explanations.
I have not seen anything to say that it still doesn’t work. Is it just eating all the paste every time?
I just notice the snails eventually it seems stop pooping for enough time for it to occasionally sit. I had brought item decomp time up drastically and messed with poop interval some months ago while farming veggies, and noticed my old setup not producing as much. Ive tried reverting those settings to no avail
@@TDogsYard can you throw them out at different intervals so they poop at different times?
Don't need this since the Vivarium - just place snails in there and unlimited achatina paste with no upkeep

Use giga, do alpha velonasaur, buy 20,000 paste with hexagons, repeat.

The beauty of this farm though is that you can spend those hexagons on something else, and the time doing said mission on say, preping for boss fights, or building, or something
@@natecox307 yeah, but alpha velonasaur takes like 3 mins, I mean I get it.. but farming the mats and crafting for cakes to feed them takes longer than a couple of velon runs
What does someone do if they dont own genesis? (I'm assuming genesis is the place where you get and use hexagons) I have genesis but havent played on it yet so that makes me wonder what about people who dont have it? Another consideration might be "how many hexagons can I earn while I'm asleep?" If what you're saying is as easy as it sounds you're absolutely right but not a perfect answer.
This what someone without genesis 1 or 2 does without those maps. You are correct that you have to have one of those maps to get hexagons. Also the only way to get hexagons without doing missions is talking to hnla. Occasionally you can interact with here and she will give you 300 hexagons.

The snails will need veggie cakes to stay alive but that’s it. Once or twice a week if you put all points into food.
Every 3months put food lvl up if high lol snails

I have notice that you do not feed the achatina they are full of rucks so is it that cake is good only for taming ?? Need help cause those cake are expensive like hell lol. Many thanks at advance ;-)
Yea you still need to feed veggie cakes to them sadly

If you fill them with rocks you will need to put the cakes in a trough for the snails to eat. Make sure you put berries is the trough first to feed the herbivores or they will also try to eat the cakes
If you don’t want the babies just let my die. They will auto decay
Also if you go into options on the snail there should be a spay or neuter option. I haven’t tried this but other dinos have this option so I’m sure the snails do.

generally if the gacha sits and eats its because there is either not enough achatinas or the timing of them if just off enough that that gacha has time to sit. If you have enough Achatinas out, try podding them and throwing them out at different intervals so their time to drop paste is not at the same time. Also, you can put seeds in the gachas inventory and it will eat that before the paste. It will require a lot of seeds, you'll need an iguandon for that

He’s saying use seeds in the gachas inventory for it to eat rather than the paste. If you get an Iguanadon to make the seeds you can make a lot quickly
