    Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures - big or small - and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
    The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It's kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I've always been extremely passionate about what I'm doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I've made over 150 TH-cam videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. After all, we're just getting started.

    Thanks you very much Elliot to show my tiny country 🇮🇨 to all your followers.
    You transmit more and better than all tourist propaganda campaigns from the Government of The Canary Islands. I hope that your videos will bring us a lot of "american, puertoricans and cubans good tourist" like you.

    Gofio is basically the most typical product of the Canary islands alongside Plátanos de Canarias, papas arrugás and mojo (which btw is not always "mojo picón", that's specifically the typical spicy red one). It's not a specific cereal but a flour made of roasted grain (most typically wheat or corn). What you ate is a typical plate called "escaldón de gofio", but gofio can be consumed in many different ways, the most typical being escaldón (hot plate), pellas (dessert), mousse (dessert) and gofio with milk (mostly old people's breakfast 🤣).
    Really nice video!

    • @AdventureElliot
      @AdventureElliot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for the informative comment letting us know about gofio. The girl didn’t really know how to describe it in the video, no pasa nada. Also thanks for the clarification on mojo .. un saludo

      El mojo picón es una mezcla de ajo, aceite de oliva, vinagre, comino, con o sin bicho, con pimentón el colorao. Con mucho perejil el verde.

    Beautiful scenery from my neighboring island! And great people! ¡Un abrazo desde Tenerife a todos mis hermanos canarios! Bueno perdón, también vi gente de la península, encantadores como siempre, viva España!
    0:52 I'm not very sure, but I think those places were used long time ago by goat herders to keep inside their herd. But I don't know really, it's what my father would tell me from similar places we found in Tenerife, it's like a small lodge built inside the rock, very intriguing for me.
    The mojo rojo, verde and almogrote pack for 12 euros, I think it's not that bad. Because almogrote is made with aged cheese, which is usually a little bit costly. 4€ each jar, I would buy, very yummy "tentempié" while hiking. With bread, "chorizo" and the Canarian soda Clipper... Like Manolo Vieira would say: "buaaaaaah". Burp time, hahaha It's glory... Damn, I need to go to the supermarket now!

    • @AdventureElliot
      @AdventureElliot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      At 0:52 it was either a pozo or some sort of storage.. but now filled with trash, sadly. And yeah I suppose Almagrote is a little more expensive. That place was selling small bottles of water for 2€ and my friend told me everything was overpriced, but I wanted to help the lady out because she was a local.

    todas las veces que veo uno de tus videos pienso lo mismo...."este chico merece mucho mas seguidores".. keep on this way Elliott! i like the stories u tell and also the fact that your video do not want seem hyper professionals like the majority of travel bloggers....that marks the difference in my opinion...keep being spontaneus this way!

    • @AdventureElliot
      @AdventureElliot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Ross, I appreciate it. Sometimes I think over editing videos and exaggerating too much can just come off as fake. So keeping the video simple shows the reality and also shows the way I actually am in real life. I’m the same way in real life as the videos. Also, I can’t stand watching “travel” vloggers who don’t show local cultures or people and just talk about their hotel or their narcissistic vision.
      I think for my channel to grow I need a few things to happen: I need to diversity my videos and travel to more countries. 2) I need to just keep going and be consistent and 3) I need a little TH-cam luck.. but 1/2 will bring the luck to me! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Regarding how to grow....i would not worry too much about it...keep on this way and results will come...yes, visiting other countries with a huge history such as Italy would be a great idea also because italians gave a great contribution in the new world ( my thesis was about italian americans...) abother idea could be sometimes interviewing some americans who are living in spain...for any suggestion about italy u can count me obviously. Hi! I’ve been watching your videos for a few days and the truth is that I’ve loved them! I think that is really awesome how you are getting involved with our culture and stepping on each one of our most remote places of the island! I wanted to suggest you, that if you still here, you should visit a town in the west side of the island called “La Aldea de San Nicolas”. It’s a small town but really beautiful and interesting in terms of history, with the best views of the island (I say this completely objectively and not because it is my town haha) but it’s true, from our beach, you can see the whole Teide and the entire island of Tenerife perfectly, especially when there isn’t no calima, and the sky remains clear without too many clouds. In addition, we have viewpoints from where you can see it much better. I invite you to visit it and take incredible images that you will not regret! If you decide to come, you can contact me and I can tell you how to get here and many more. Greetings!!!

    El gofio es la comida de los antiguos habitantes de las Canarias. Cereales, trigo, mijo tostado y molido.
    Con el descubrimiento de América se añadió, el maíz.
    Se toma con caldo o leche y es buenísimo.
