When I was getting ready to move, I had no idea my parakeet would know what all of the packed boxes stacked in my living room meant. But, one day he escaped from his cage and flew into my bedroom and into my walk-in closet. He perched on top of my suitcase which was on the top shelf at the back of the closet. He had never gone in there before, and I had a really tough time getting him down. It was like he knew I wouldn't leave without my suitcase, and he was going to stay right there to make sure I took him with me. It's surprising how observant and discerning animals can be.
This is going to be one of Key's most memorable trips! I can just tell! Jodie, you and Jamie are so blessed to have Key and Sherpa in your lives, and we are so lucky and grateful you're both so generous in sharing them with us. Thank you!

Those were entirely different sounds and behaviours from Key and Sherpa. I'm sure they both knew something out of the ordinary was happening! They were both so excited. Loved the song of the travel biscuits! ❤️❤️
Jamie told us yesterday that you both were coming for a stay. I was really excited for K'ey. I was almost in tears because K'ey thought you were leaving and not taking him with you. His face almost broke my heart. Then he was so excited when he heard Sherpa's name. We all love K'ey and Sherpa and you and Jamie and your Mum too. Can't wait for videos of this trip.
He is so smart and sensitive it's unreal. He was really worried you are going without him, not that it will ever going to happen. Every emotion he can deliver perfectly, and I love it so much when he is talking. He actually knows to talk clear English.
Key is going to want a whole lot more trips to Sherpa's place in the future, just look at Key's face and hear his talking and you know he is looking forward to the trip and stay over. How wonderful.
