I’m 74 and have outlived all of my dogs. Usually rescued 2 or 3 at a time. I’ve had them 18 years and it seemed 14 was the age I lost most. It’s wonderful that you had Sherpa in your life during some tough times..But you have to get past this sorrow….. I still get teary eyed when I think of my fur babies still…years later….but we opened our hearts and home to another rescue Beagle….She has brought light and happiness back into our lives….❤❤

Lovely video Jamie, made me weep, and I love that Sherpy is enjoying St. Agnes/Tubby's Head forever. I can just picture him in the storm and wind, looking out to sea, with his ears and jowls flapping. I lit a candle at midnight and kept it lit all day yesterday for his birthday. ❤ I don't know how many times I've seen this video. It still brings tears to my eyes. The plaque is so beautiful. I know Sherpa was with you that whole day. Something tells me he was playing tricks on you to let you know he was there like making the drone crash and hiding your sunglasses making you go back to look for them before getting to yours and his favorite place to sit and chill whilst watching the sea.🤭Such a cheeky boy! A lovely tribute to a lovely boy. A bit worried about the security of the plaque, tho'. I'd invest in a tube of industrial strength adhesive, perhaps like the kind they use for setting commercial tile flooring and permanently afix it to the stone face there. Take a scraper and clear off the lichens, then give it a good amount of adhesive. When it sets up, they'll need extreme force to move it. As it is now, it's possible even the wind could take it over the edge there in a strong storm. I'd hate to see it lost. Happy Birthday, Beautiful Sherpa. 💗💗💗💗

Its kinda cool to think that when we and our pets exit that we become aware of how we are one with everything. We can feel others thinking of us snd feel their love no matter how far away we are. I watched an NDE of someone recently who met their dog on the other side. The dog was playing in a garden with other animals. He/she said, telepathically, to their human how much they loved it there.🥰
