    I haven’t found anywhere on the manual or on TH-cam, if I have 2 accounts from 2 different providers (not cloud or call servers of my own), and I’m assigned a different local phone number on each one, so basically if I have 2 different voip accounts and numbers, and I want to make a call, how do I choose which account makes the call? I want to be able to answer both accounts when ringing, but make calls only from one account, unless this account is currently offline for technical reasons.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the video.
    I have one question.
    Consider we have two sites and we made ipsec site to site, now we've grandstream voip server in A site and in B site we have some grandstream phone and in B site they are getting ip add from B end router which is obviously the different network ip address. So, can we establish a connection or make registration of B Site phones with server available at A site.....
    Basically the main objective is to make calls from B site to A site phones and vice versa
    Please let me know your feedback....I will be waiting for your response

      Hi Amit, thanks for your question. Without getting into the granular details about your network it sounds like your scenario presented should work. Make sure that your routers in each location have a route across the IPsec tunnel for the phones in Site B to reach the Grandstream server, that way the aren't looking for the server locally on Site B when it exists in Site A.

      Hi Mick, I believe there's a factory default option within the phone menu that you can access and reset the phone with. That would be the first thing I would do. Form there if you factory default the phone you can access it with default credentials and get it setup properly.

    Please note the grandstream app for the cell phone if you are receiving an incoming text the last message cannot be deleted it's necessary maybe for an update on that again the last message that somebody sent you cannot be removed for some real crazy reason I don't understand what's going on there if somebody can let grandstream know it would be greatly appreciated again this is the mobile phone app for the Android I don't know what iPhone I don't have it but all I can say is on the Android if you receive a text on your grandstream application if the last text or if it's the only text you won't be able to remove it and I don't understand why

    My GXP1625 doesn't have ip address. it shows 0.0.0.0. How can i assign ip to it?

    • @AccentVoice
      @AccentVoice  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're network is setup for dynamic IP addressing (which 98% are) then your device should get an IP address when you plug it in to your LAN. Otherwise, you will have to assign it a static IP address from you LAN address pool if you don't' have a DHCP service running on your network.
      Is your phone connected to your local network and is your network setup for DHCP?

    AccentVoice how will i connect and login or maybe register the user which is created from the UCM6208 i ave 2 different IP which is the local Network 192.168.0.0 and the Grandstream with 192.168.100.0 how will it detect the user phone because it was on DHCP and once i connect on the network it will get the Local IP which is 192.168.0.0.

      @AccentVoice the problem i have is it has 2 different network ip and the main ip is picking up by the user phone

    • @AccentVoice
      @AccentVoice  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, it sounds like your network addressing might have an issue, a network device shouldn't have an IP address with the last octet of 0.

    how do i setup time and date ?

    • @AccentVoice
      @AccentVoice  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure it can be set via the web admin interface. Get the phone's local IP address and browse to it, the default username and password is admin/admin.

    default password for login on IP Phone

    • @AccentVoice
      @AccentVoice  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you're looking for the default login/password for the web GUI, on older models it is generally admin/admin. However, on newer models Grandstream has changed that approach.
