WHAT!? I had no idea this was sequenced! They hid it really well! It does make a lot of sense though, as it's hard to load a bunch of stuff off a disc you're also streaming the music off of, so having a relatively small sequenced song to fit on your 16 megabytes of RAM is nice for a menu.
This brings back so many memories! I love this game far too much, First ever game I ever played. The menu them will always be iconic for me. Whenever I play this game or hear music from it, it just brings me back to that feeling of being a kid again, racing through the courses and having a blast. Playing DK mountain, Daisy Cruiser, Wario Colosseum, etc. Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road especially bring back fond memories. The music in this game still holds up all these years later tbh
Esta canción me produce una rara sensación de soledad y tranquilidad al mismo tiempo, como si estuviera en el espacio. La música quedaría bien para el menú de modo online. 5:29 players select 6:10 game mode select 7:32 characters select 8:54 cup select
I bet they are using real instruments like in MK8 which I don’t like. I hope they bring back the digitalized instruments and the old drifting in the next Mario kart
Even if all the other tracks from this game are streamed, the 3 remixed songs from this game that play in Nintendogs most likely aren't just so you know hehehe
I'm pretty sure that every song in this game was not sequenced by the console itself, plus some of them also uses real instruments such as Mute City, Pokémon Stadium or almost every victory theme from that game.
@@a5tr4l sequenced music files tend to be spectated, and so the individual instruments tend to be on different channels. This is unlike most streamed music, which tends to be on a single channel.
8:13 is a bop, no synths needed
I felt like this was gonna be sequenced. As real as it sounds. My brain is still recovering from the Wii's deception 😭

This song is so calm
Channel 1,2:acoustic piano
Channel 3-6:roland synths
Channel 7,8:voice synthesizer
Channel 9:strings
Channel 10:fingerstyle BASS
Channel 12-14:snare
Channel 11:hi-hat
Channel 15:BASS drum
12-14 is the snare; 11 is the hi-hat.
Fixed 😊
SLAP the like button for more BASS
0:03 now I know why they call this a grand piano...
Can't believe this is 20 years old
You can't just put a jumpscare in your comment like that 😢
I also noticed than the MKDS piano is the MKDD piano but very compressed
Even the bass from DD was reused in MKDS.
@@netako Yup, this is a bass instrument from the Roland-SC88 from which a lot of samples were taken from SNES to today
Channel 1 and 2: Piano
Channel 3-6: Synthesizer 1
Channel 7 and 8: Choir
Channel 9: Synthesizer 2
Channel 10: Bass
Channel 11-15: Drums
The synths used in this song are so magical.

One of the most relaxing songs in the series, I hope MK9 has one like this
I bet they are using real instruments like in MK8 which I don’t like. I hope they bring back the digitalized instruments and the old drifting in the next Mario kart
This just makes me wish the whole ost could be deconstructed like this lol
Nonetheless, nice vid!
Oh wow I was waiting for this one. So nostalgic
I JUST SAW THIS THANK YOU 😭❤️
My favorite…
Best menu music

Relaxing.
Incredible! Please can you do Starman theme deconstruction from MKDD?
do i hear the roland D-50 "staccato heaven" preset?
Nostalgic
this is so beautiful, thank you
So nostalgic! If you can, please do a few tracks from Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
Why are the samples here so good???
The only video quality is 360p for some reason.. 😅
You generally have to wait a bit and it will be back to 1080p as usual.
Yep, there it is!
Do you think you could do the Mario Kart Wii Menu? From mode selection until the cups?
I had no idea this was sequenced… any chance you could do the Menu 1 theme in Super Smash Bros. Melee or even the Metal Battle theme (same game)?
I'm pretty sure that every song in this game was not sequenced by the console itself, plus some of them also uses real instruments such as Mute City, Pokémon Stadium or almost every victory theme from that game.
Could you deconstruct the Starman theme from this game? It's so chaotic and I would love to hear the individual parts.
the Starman is streamed not sequenced sadly so it can't be deconstructed like the title or menu themes
@@adolescentseagull Ah okay, I figured as much
Are all double dash songs like this? You should work on them all if so. I love what you do!!!
Nope, he told me that only the title screen, menu themes, and the jingles are like this. None of the other tracks are sequenced I’m afraid.
The closest we got are MKDS’s renditions of some Double Dash tracks
@@paulgilbert5278 more or so the kiosk demo versions as those have samples that are closer to Double Dash’s
@@UltraNintendoChalmers64what does sequenced mean?

How many songs are sequenced in this game? If it’s every song, there are quite a few that could be picked.
2 songs and 5 jingles.
So aside from the jingles, I already made all of them. 😔
@@Orj_Osc so I guess that the only Mario double dash stuff left are the MKDS kiosk demo versions of the Circuit and Baby Park themes.
You could use recreations@@Orj_Osc
So more galaxy content?@@Orj_Osc
