👍Thanks. Your 'News Failure Strategy' is a really unique analytical tool for traders to add to their repertoire. I've seen this kind of 'contrary turn' play out a few times, too, (though I still can't make head nor tail of the COT Report, myself.) 👍
Always look forward to your videos. Your final words about being grateful really resonate with me. I've been in a long drawdown but have to remind myself that I'm fortunate to even be in a position to trade.
Beyond Meat was a perfect example last week. I think it's gonna have a big run after a news failure at the lows that would have made most people think it would tank even further yet it turned back up.
Jason - Would you consider the lower than expected Swiss CPI # on 10/3 (market sold off then closed higher on 10/4) news failure here as well? Thanks for your time.
Thank you for sharing these thoughtful reflections. I appreciate you taking the time to express your frustrations about the state of the world, but also offer a message of hope and perspective.
Im a New Member: have question.. If the Market is crowded on one side and we get the news failure plus confirmation of the move, How long before do you usually hold a position before the market finally has to price in the bad or good news.. ?
Great content as always, Jason! Can you tell me what Quote and Chart service are you using (in this video and others)? It looks very intuitive, I really like how you can see all the markets and then go to each specific one in more detail.
Hi Jason, thanks for another insightful video. I have one question: does news failure always has to be reversing price action? For example, if on high employment number, what if market had opened up and continued to go up instead of opening down and then reversing?
Awesome insights as usual Jason. I have a question though. The Commodity hedgers are clear as day to me, but who are Commercial Hedgers in things like the DJI or the Nasdaq or S&P?
Around 5:45 you say that gold is less short than usual than you say it was squeezed because they were massively short gold... Which is it , contradictory statement.
I think you mis understood. Commercials are always short. but now they are much less short than normal, meaning on a relative basis to history they are long.
@@Bill-zp8zt i understand what he said , and it didn’t make sense. Gold commercials have been buyers and not sellers before , so they are not always short. They are usually short.
Thank you brother. Serenity prayer... God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it

I have not looked at it from that point of view. Thank you Jason.

Like when all the silver mines were closed due to a bad flu. Shortly after, silver topped at $30.

THANXXXXX 🎉
Thank you Jason. A question. The speculators are super long cocoa. What would be a news failure for this market?
Thats true Jason❤ count blessings....
thanks for the examples. However, aussie, NZ dollar, and yen also have massive short positions yet they didn't fare as well.
not max short according the CMR data in those markets.
Yo Jason!
Agree with everything you say ! Specially the last 2 minutes. Enjoy your weekend. Life is so short !

What about the DAX 40 🇩🇪 🌈 🤔
Pisses me off too, great perspective jason, good call
Definitely be grateful😇🙏🏼

Yeah it's not good for either side. I'm in northern NJ and it seems people in NYC are behaving. Hopefully it stays that way.
