In this video, Jason Shapiro of Crowded Market Report discusses the key to succeeding as a trader and becoming profitable. It is not about predicting the future of a market but rather finding trades where the risk/reward ratio is in your favor. This means finding trades where the payout is higher than the amount you will lose on the trade. For example, having a 35% win rate can result in a positive return as long as the reward/risk ratio is in your favor (ex. 4:1 payout). However, there is also a higher chance of losing streaks, so risk management and discipline are essential. Jason & CMR are not trying to be a service that tells people what trades to make but instead is focused on helping people understand the concepts that work over time, such as risk management, discipline and more along with increasing awareness about the importance of trader positioning provided by the Commitment of Traders report.
