    I have to say you are very descriptive and really illustrate what you're talking about well. There's a level of word selection that really helps convey the details of this watch. Thanks for the great review.

    Well done. I am so surprised how much you liked the watch. Kept waiting for deal breaking cons, but they refreshingly never came. That was fun. I'll definitely pick one up, even if to give it as a gift. I've still got to watch your Moonswatch video, and patiently waiting for your Sartory Billiard vid!

      I’m just as surprised haha. It’s a fun one. Wonder what you’ll think of it! Sartory is coming. Good and bad thing to have so many cool watches to review at once

    Not a Swiss quartz movement, but I do have Indiglo. 👍

    bro that Casio hack saved me! I've got the automatic Timex (batman one) and it's got the arm hair puller bracelet and I had a different Casio (A700WEM-7AEF) and it looks and feels so good with that bracelet.

    does the GMT on your's hand keep accurate time? Mine seems to lose time almost immediately. Rest of the watch is great (hopefully someone will make a sapphire mod for it), and I love the look, but it's main feature not functioning properly is extremely irritating!!

      Have to read it in partnership with the rotating bezel. It’s is supposed to do 360 degree in 24 hours. You read the hour on the bezel when you set it at your 2nd time zone. I didn’t understand until someone else commented elsewhere

    I was pleasantly surprised by the weight it’s got some heft to it. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. I have a 72 Rolex gmt and I got this one so the real one isn’t on duty every day and it’s basically the same weight which is nice. The only criticism is the polished parts on the face look kinda cheap.

    For an extra $20 they could put a Sapphire crystal on it. They would be taken much more seriously as a quality watch and watch company. Oh well, it's TIMEX so half way is the only way. Too bad.

      @@StephenNg95 If I had the knowledge and the proper tools to switch the crystal to a Sapphire I'd give it a try. I love the watch but no Sapphire, no deal for me.

    • @theknightswatch
      @theknightswatch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I don’t see the lack of sapphire as a big issue. It’s a vintage reissue style watch and that’s what they used. You can pay 6000 for An omega with the same kind of crystal so why not 200 on a Timex

    • @michaelhargis7036
      @michaelhargis7036 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@theknightswatch I have 2 Seikos in my collection with Hardlex crystals and I've put a scratch on both of the watches. Once you've scratched a crystal you can't NOT see the scratch. Every time I look to see the time, inevitably I see the scratch first. It infuriates me.
      A watch without sapphire crystal is a watch I won't own.
      It's an extra $20/$25 to the watch price. UGH 😫

    • @nickinportland
      @nickinportland ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s supposed to be vintage, the domed crystal adds a lot to the look. It’s not a big deal you can buff it right out.
