@@OrNah. when you dl it just open the file double click on it and put it in any folder and then open the emulator click on file click on install firmware and click on that same file it should start dl to the emulator
For anyone with the Access violation reading location 0x1c (unmapped memory) issue. I found a fix that worked for me and that's on the main RPCS3 screen click on config next to the play button and change the PPU decoder to interpreter then try again.

Quick update if you right click on the game you want to play and select, change custom configuration, you can change the PPU back to recompiler to stop the game staggering. I have only tested this one 1 game though
Dude it worked like a charm for me, I don’t see the Sony interface that you get after installing the firmware, however I was able to download playstation all stars and I’m playing now 😎

the shortcut thing is the best thing ever, I always go and open the emulator than select the game but that trick that you mentioned saves time

If your games are locked on 60 fps try patching them bye going on manage and clicking on the option that says game patch and finding the game(s) that you are finding issues with and clicking on the option that says 60fps from the game.
while it says compiling modules down the bottom left corner, it stops working and comes out with this on the RPCS3 module - Access violation reading location 0x1c (unmapped memory)

after installing the ps3 firmware, it did not show up with a allow access. it just went back to normal. i checked the log and it does say that the firmware successfully installed.

The whole guide was amazing and to the point! My only problem is that when I try to add a game it doesn't find it. What the game format should be? Rom or ISO?
Should be a folder once you extract it. And it’s usually iso before the extract. If you want to join my discord I could probably be a better help

I've been having the same problem. I put my extracted games in the "games" folder that's already set up when you download rpcs3 as well as trying to create a new folder after the act and neither works, no games show up in the rpcs3 software when I try to add games using the steps detailed in the video... I'm not sure what else I can do!

Hello for everyone. I done the setup for the RPCS3, and started to play Shadow Of The Colossus. It easely loaded and everything, But after i moved with the character in the game, it stops and sometimes compiling shader, sometimes just stop and i need to close the whole program. I restarted it and nothing happened same issue. Can somehow solve this problem?

When i try clicking to open the app where you did at 3:10 it says "Code execution cannot proceed because vulkan-1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I tried reinstalling and doing the extraction 2 times but it says the same thing btw im on windows plz help
Same issue with me i dont understand what i am doing wrong i have great hardware so idk the issue is
When you load it up, go too config and then gpu and change it from vulkan too openGL, that fixed my issue.
Everytime i download it, it gets connected to internet explorer and never lets me open it.

I had the same issue go into the gpu settings and change it from vulkan too openGL and it booted up without an issue man!!🤙

That is because either you're using very old GPU or an incompatible GPU.

its saying firmware installation failed, the provided file is incomplete. Try redownloading it but its been complete. I tried redownloading it and even if it completes its still doesnt work.
