I've really been feeling called to develop a relationship with Manannán (possibly because I've been doing Otherworld journeying for a few months?). Always love to hear personal experiences with Him (along with the lore of course!!). I'd definitely be interested in a future video more on that!!! 🙏💞
Love the hanging story and the race story, thanks for sharing them! After Lugh, his foster-father, far-travelling Manannán, is definitely one of my primary deities. A delightful very late appearance of the god is mentioned in the Scottish Journal, Contemporary Review (1902) where Fiona Macleod tells the story of an old man, Murdo MacIan, who had multiple personal visits and teachings by Manannán in the late nineteenth century! So cool. 🌊🌊🌊

Loved this video. Thanks so much as always. If you ever feel like sharing, I’d love to hear about your drive to honor him. Always curious about that in my own practice as well.
This week, I got comfortable enough to invite Manannán onto my island in The Otherworld. He's been on my beach for awhile. Then, we sat down, and He asked what I wanted. And I told Him let's be friends. So, I bought a candle for Him, and I bought the IPS class about Him that same day as a Friend Gift. The very next day! You put out this video. Thank you so much, Jon. I laughed several times listening to you describe His adventures. Lora's class is amazing. I feel like each of you covered something the other didn't. You're both excellent teachers. Thank you for the education and place to learn about Deity.
Thank you so much for this video! I am very interested in seeing more videos about this fascinating diety! Please do add more in the future! Thank you again!
Manannán Mac Lír is extremely interesting, I really enjoyed this video a lot. His skill to change perceptions in order to challenge beliefs is an incredible one. That is so awesome to hear that the guided journeys are inspired by him, I really like them a lot! I'd love to hear more about that.
Got a lot of bang for my buck with this vid! I was hoping you'd do something more broad sweeping as this video, so thanks for reading my mind 😜 I'm always partial to another Manannán video, especially actually as folks relate to Him. He's a real wild card but such a delight in my developing relationship with deity. 🌊💖 GRMA for the video response! 🙏🏻
could you tell us more about his Manx influence i'm from the Isle of Man and would love for people to know more about the awesome history from a Manx Gaelic perspective
Hi Courtney. Thanks a lot for your comment. There are some very cool cross overs with the Isle of Man in Irish lore and though we cover things as best we can there will always be areas where we cant really go. As we're not from the Isle of Man we wouldn't feel comfortable speaking on behalf of Manx culture. In the same way its not our place to speak for Scottish or Welsh history or culture. Maybe this is an area for you to explore and promote, or maybe there are native teachers or folk who hold the old stories to be found in the island itself with a bit of luck. - thanks again. Years ago I dreamed that I was in the middle of the sea - no land in sight. To the left of me was a ship on fire in the distance with billowing smoke and the sun shining behind it. Out from the flames of the ship leaped a white horse, galloping across the water towards me. As it approached me, it submerged most of its body into the water so that I could grab onto it and then it lead me to shore. Does any of this imagery have anything to do with any of the lore of Manannan Mac Lir? I've been searching for years for an answer to this dream.
Hi There. We are very careful about not diagnosing peoples dreams for them as dream is the language of the sub conscious and as such things can be rather unique to each of our own lived experiences. That being said, the Irish lore of Manannán Mac Lir does speak of him having a white horse named Aonbárr that runs across the waves as well as across land. We have some more info on Manannán on our blog here: irishpagan.school/?s=Manann%C3%A1n and of course there are classes at the school itself. thanks for the comment
Thank you. My father passed on last night, and I'm begging for a rain storm. I'm planning an offering for Manannan Mac Lir

Can you tell us what the god Manannán Mac Lir has to do with the triskelion symbol? Thank you.

Another really good video I didn't know a lot of this information. Thanks for sharing 👊🏻
Make a video about Dian Cécht!
In the lore Macha's dad is said to be "Strange, son of the sea". Is this another name for Manannan?
