- Bears, rain and waterfalls, we saw it all in Kings Canyon National Park California. We hiked a few trails at roads end including Roaring River Falls, Mist Falls and Zumwalt Meadow. We were so excited to see a momma bear with her two cubs!

About this Video:
In this video we attempted to hike the mist falls trail at roads end in Kings Canyon National Park in California. We took the kings canyon scenic byway. Kings canyon is a national park in California. We saw black bears and cubs. We hiked two different waterfalls, roaring river falls and mist falls. We also hiked Zumwalt meadow in Kings Canyon National park. Kings Canyon National Park is located in California. Kings Canyon is a US National Park. We hiked many miles in Kings Canyon. We already love RV Living and Rv Life. We are now living the rv life full time.

Great video! Looking to go to mist falls! How long was the hike to get to the falls? And total.
It was about 9 miles round trip!
Start in the morning take your time. Have lunch at the falls. And hike back out. There is more hiking past mist falls. The photo u see is of me is past Mist Falls . It is a climb !
@@corinaalmaguer2454 I did the trail summer 2019. Did what you mentioned. I beat the crowd. I'd hate to go up this steps with so many people. I took the route back that take you to clarke point view. Beautiful.

Watch your step on the way up. I went with my hiking crew 2018 we were backpacking to the upper camp sight was a little flooded.
So we camped overnight on the trail. The next day hiked out. I would love to go again.
@@corinaalmaguer2454 I just realized this is a video on kings canyon, I was thinking Yosemites mist trail 😅 but still did it the same summer! Yeah, the tree area by the river was flooded on some parts. I wanted to go past further mist falls but the people who came with me were ready to call it a day.

Oh! I wish these trails were open for us. We had a nice time at the park though and were was able to soak in a ton of its beauty.

I've spent most summers in Kings Canyon and I recognize every shot in your video! I can almost smell the cedar trees. Do the Don Cecil trail. Its short and beautiful. Gets you up to a waterfall. Best early after park opening.

The last time I hiked to mist falls a few years ago it was the beginning of summer and on the way out ! A rattlesnake right by my 🥾

I didn’t even know until my boyfriend heard rattling noise and told me to stop!!!! I look down and there it was! I felt cold at the bottom of my feet and up it went to the tip of my head! Yes scared but calm. And off it went! On the way in we seen a few snakes I think all together that day 4 snakes.

Road Venture thank you! It was along King’s canyon scenic byway heading into the area where zumwalt meadow and mist falls hike is. It’s in sequoia national forest. There are so many rad spots in sequoia national forest.

What is the name of the place were people jump off a rock to the water dont remember the name it's were the rode ends
Juan Unzueta hey, I’m not exactly sure where that is I would be interested to hear more about it though. All the water I saw was rushing really really fast due to the snow melt so it would have been very dangerous to swim in.
@@queenofadventure just found out were is its in roads end people jump off the big rock . Its on the same path going to red bridge. Next time your up there look for it your going to love it ✌

Hey its been a while but if you are headed to the trailhead for mist falls or to Zumwalt meadow its just a site off the national forest road that leads there. Hope that helps.
Where is the location of the disburse campsite? Is it hard to find disburse campsites? Awesome video.
T. Q. It’s in sequoia national forest right outside the park. The road that leads directly to the zumwalt meadows and mist falls hike.

aldenv2 I wish I had more details for exactly where it was. It was in Sequoia National Forest on the way to the area of Kings Canyon with Mist Falls and Zumwalt Meadow. Along Kings Canyon Scenic Byway.
