Great advice. Had a different massage chair. Just incline function on the multifunction remote that didn't work. However, this video gave me the confidence that I could open the remote without ruining the circuits inside. Just wiped the connection/circuit that the incline push button press down on and then it worked as it should. Thanks for uploading this video Jon.

Thank you for this video....I need to check my mother n law's chair...her power goes on and off on hers as well....you just saved me $75 for just pick up of her chair let alone the repair

The heat/massage remote on our Golden lift chair (Model# PR410-LAR-SHV-VHA) isn't working. It was on a surge protector, but we recently lost our home generator and 3 other surge protectors we had on our electronic equipment due to power surges during a storm. The surge protector shows signs of heat damage. We've located an AC adaptor/Class 2 transformer Model# APX6636001/In seat# 15531) on Amazon for replacement. Given this information, do you think we are correct in diagnosing the problem? Thank you in advance for your response. Eydie

i bought the same chair i got to remotes the one you fix and the one for the massages. but i have no idea how to recline can you help me to find out how it reclines?

Jon do you have a way to fix the connection of the wire to the remote itself? Ours is pulling at the connection and breaking off

OK my remote looked just like that 1. I can stand it up but I cannot bring it back down and I've tried to take the screws out the back but they are so hard to come out since they was put in manufacturingOK my remote looked just like that 1. My lift chair goes up but not down. I opened up the remote and found a copper coil not connected and loose. Any ideas how to fix that? And would that solve the problem?

The other day I laid back in my Golden Technology Power Chair, it wouldn't go up, I WAS STUCK. My front door was locked so nobody could get in to help me. I called the people I got it from they said they couldn't get it here till Monday or Tuesday of the next week this happened on Friday, I was also told that this had never happened before. My chair would go back but it wouldn't lift I told the guy this and he said well I've never heard of that before. I finally messed with it long enough that I got up, and then it quit working again. I noticed the green light would only come on when I push the button for it to go back it wouldn't come on when I wanted it to go up. I've only had my chair since January of 2021 so it was still under warranty, the guy come early Monday morning and replaced my remote and he said this happens more than they know, I'm the one that goes out and deals with the people they don't. THIS MADE ME SO MAD, so now I have got a new wand for my chair and I hope it lasts longer than 8 months

Your situation has happened to my husband who is handicap and we are on our 4th time having to replace our Golden Technologies remote. Wishing you no further problems.
