such a lovely voice and beside that whenever i listen this song my goosebumps come out .. and something happen in my heart ..and automatically tears come out even i dont know the meaning whatever u saying .. except Dear Abdul'Baha
Hazrat-i Abdul Baha was a messenger of God. This is a subsect of Islam though heterodox. There are many messagers to come after the demise of the Prophet Muhammed.
+Sanju Dutta I think you mistook the word messenger for a Prophet. I don't mean a messenger in a purely revelation terms. Anyone who has a potent message for humanity is a messenger. Muhammad was not the final Prophet.
Submitter Salman Hyder Quranist Monotheist it is specifically mentioned in tue Quran that Prophet Muhammed is the khaat in nabiww i.e Seal of prophets...bahais and their beliefs are not islamic as ir negates the very prime issue of Prophet Muhammed being last prophet..so bahaism.is not islam...its a heresy just like ahmadiyas

The road is dark and far from home

God bless you my friend! There are no leaders in the Bahai Faith.
Many times I hear the song.
Song sung in 1992 New York.
Still listening.
What a soulful song - entered straight in to the heart!
I have never heard such a beautiful song, wonderful !! Actually this song gave me my religion back.Even thou i don't anderstand the words, its simply beautiful! Thank you for singing it.
The song is beautiful ! Even though I don’t understand every word sung. It reminds me of my loving mother -in law . Crying …
what can one say? a profound moment in that momentous Congress. it seems like yesterday and probably always will. this arrangement of the song is a perfect blend of Persian and Western music. and Narges Mahmoudnejad (I think?) sings it so touchingly.
One of the most beautiful song I've ever heard !
Просто красота, душа переполняться чистыми мыслями❤
Their faces show love and joy for singing the Unity for All the peoples of the world... Not matter what believes they have.
Thanks a 1000 000 times for posting this video.
I am sure others will understand what it is to wish that one could be in this moment for ever. Time stands still, heaven becomes a reality on earth and the deep love of 'Abdu'l -Baha conquers all.
I cry with this song every single time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Maybe I have a lot inner pain and turmoil.
I like this but i suggest Listening to Quran💙👌🏼
Much respect to Bahai❤️
I love how this song makes me feel so free of our earthly binds. So beautiuful.
Can anyone translate the words..?? I don't know what she was saying but it brought tears to my eyes. I just kept singing the words Abdul Baha..... Thankyou!
Hold Thou My Hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, I’m far from home
The road is dark, I’m alone
Hold thou my hand, Hold thou my hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, be Thou my guide
When I am weak stay by my side
Hold thou my hand, Hold thou my hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, O dearest Friend
Help me to reach my journey’s end
Hold thou my hand, Hold thou my hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, hear me I pray
O help me lest I go astray
Hold thou my hand, Hold thou my hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, I shall no fear
When I am sure that Thou art near
Hold thou my hand, Hold thou my hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, O dearest Friend
Help me to reach my journey’s end
Hold thou my hand, Hold thou my hand
‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Hold Thou my hand
Poem by Dr. Habíb Mu’ayyid
Melody by Gloria Faizi
Hope it’s correct Abdul Baha🙇♀️🙏❤️💕
I am so grateful you posted this. The World Congress was so incredible and this song along with the gospel choir changed my life. Please post the rest of the Bah'ai Congress tapes if you can.
Praise the Lord glory to Baha'u'lla'h
Ma chère Monica, c'est un chant qui me donne le frisson.....
The voice of the singer is wonderful, very expressive. Also the choir sounds very nice. Beautiful song. Thanks for uploading.
Teresa, this is for your, for letting me listen to this great praise song almost ten years ago, Thanks also for sharing an English translation that your daughter Katie and her friend did, so I could really experience the spirit of this praise song! Thanks to the good soul that posted this - so many would receive blessings, and acquire higher vibrations!
such a lovely voice and beside that whenever i listen this song my goosebumps come out .. and something happen in my heart ..and automatically tears come out even i dont know the meaning whatever u saying .. except Dear Abdul'Baha
Hazrat-i Abdul Baha was a messenger of God. This is a subsect of Islam though heterodox. There are many messagers to come after the demise of the Prophet Muhammed.
Submitter Salman Hyder Quranist Monotheist kindly study first before making any decision. he is not messenger of Allah (God)
+Sanju Dutta I think you mistook the word messenger for a Prophet. I don't mean a messenger in a purely revelation terms. Anyone who has a potent message for humanity is a messenger. Muhammad was not the final Prophet.
Submitter Salman Hyder Quranist Monotheist it is specifically mentioned in tue Quran that Prophet Muhammed is the khaat in nabiww i.e Seal of prophets...bahais and their beliefs are not islamic as ir negates the very prime issue of Prophet Muhammed being last prophet..so bahaism.is not islam...its a heresy just like ahmadiyas
faiz ahmed allha'u'abha friends .. thanks .. I'm a Baha'I too
Abdul I carry in my minds eye throughout my waking and cry as I sing his song knowing he is withh me
This is really fantastic. Thank you Tom Price for this wonderful rendition.
Beautiful, lovely, and soothing... thanks so much for uploading
Beautiful
So beautiful! Gives me chills every time :).

Music, particularly that which communicates of the World of the Spirit, is an ocean of waves upon which the soul may ride, a pair of wings with which the human soul may fly. O Abdu'l-Baha, how powerful is Thy name!
