- In the third and final match of the Road to Nationals Gauntlet Gameplay Series, we see Ethan play as the prodigy swordswoman, using both skill and strategy, wielding the Dawnblade, graceful and nimble, embracing the dawn as he becomes the orginal Warrior, Dorinthea Ironsong. On the other side of the arena, we see Levi with a heart full of wonder and innocence, take command of the power that courses through endless plains of snow, as he plays as the Elemental Wizard, Iyslander, Stormbind!

Great video. Love those tokens, I hope LSS can start using them during tournaments/callings to make things a bit easier to understand for the viewers and commentators :) it's just missing an arcane damage version of these tokens ^^

I am by no means a savant Dori player, but I felt like we were doing alright until the game fell apart at 37:00 on that all red hand. What I would have done to have an Energy Potion in play!
Hello Mr. Man Sant, I'm a new player, and you talking through your plays really helps me understand the game. Thanks for the great content. I have 2 questions: at 17:37 it seems you pitch to get rid of frostbite, but is it possible to pitch with no action that you are paying for, or is getting rid of the frostbites enough to pitch with no follow up? Maybe I'm misunderstanding the board state. Second question - where did you get those awesome counters/tokens?
@@FredPutterman Hi! The pitch there was to negate the arcane damage that Frost Hex tried to deal. I had no action point or instants available for me to pitch into the break the Frostbites otherwise. Those tokens are 3D printed by a friend of mine. He just launched a website and I will link it plus a discount code in the next video on my channel :)
What a wonderful match. I can’t wait til wifey and I can focus more on gameplay than solely content creation. I was so lost with all the complexity. We will get there one day, hopefully. Will definitely need help 🤣🤣

Great match to watch. Was curious to see you both playing cards in the MU that you said to take out ahead of time. example Dori when going against wizard should remove defense reacts and then I see the Shunts come up in your game play. I could see the blue shunt staying in for a higher blue count. just seemed odd playing some of the cards you said to side out. These vids are fun to watch, keep em coming!
Note in the beginning, I just pulled out the Red Shunts, not the Blues. You need as many blues as possible to pay through Frostbites. The other cards mentioned to side out, were in fact, sided out.
Isylander is super strong i hope a bunch of people pick her up and bring her to nationals
Dorinthia feels like she is REALLY unfavored into this matchup. All of the resource tax via Peak, Frostbites, etc. really makes it difficult for Dori's plan to come together. I do know that there was a missed opportunity with the double Out For Blood turn, but even then, that one all-red hand resulted in a massive tempo swing that was never recovered.
Why can dori pitch to remove ice token en arcane dammage, i do nog understand. Van someone explain plz?
Often I am pitching into Nullrune to stop the arcane damage that the Frost Hexes are trying to deal to me when the Frostbites break at the end of my turn.
I was thinking on your second to last turn that you could have pitched the Twinning Blade to drop the Overpower instead of playing the Twinning. That would have taken you to 11 with a Yellow left in hand to throw in a Dawnblade for 3, even if you get a Frostbite which would have been more pressure?
Your point of taking out insidious chill isn't correct as i understand it, if you play Sigil fused the insidious chill trigger is on the stack and they cannot respond to it with attack reacts only instance. So you still rip cards out of their hand or they waste pitch to not discard.

i feel like dori cant play second cycle against these types of decks, just really need to try push through the frostbites and threaten a counter every turn.
