Sludgepump: (Good Handle) Any heavy cooking pot works. Have an old pressure cooker that I use for large part. Anything that has a flat top and is heavy enough will work and are a lot cheaper than the ones for sale. Thanks for watching. Ron
That inline pump saver is a great idea. Would it also stop powders being sucked in, or would the powder just swirl around in the little chamber and continue getting sucked up the tube to the pump?

Jack: Two reasons to cook the wood. #1 Low heat to dry or bring down the moisture content so stabilizing material works properly. #2 Stabilizers require cooking to set and harden the wood. Ron

Not sure about powders I don’tuse powders If you wanted to make one work with powder have your inputline go through a liquid

I get the dyes are from Alumilite. They work on Cactus Juice and Alumilite.
