The video shows a business man (maybe trying to go to a stressful important event) trying to board a plane which gets struck by a sudden heart attack. After the sudden realization that something is wrong you see him dazed and confused appearing in past events like the hotel he was staying at before his flight, which shows you remembering all events of your life flashing before your eyes sort to speak. After the burger talks the plane is going down, this is where he comes to the final realization that he is going to die. After dying you see him flying in the clouds with a very beautiful scene going on. The message is to be contempt and the state of things, you just have to Let It Happen, you'll get through it. As said here "And yes, it is quite a complex concept for an equally complex-sounding song. But by the end, it reads as if the singer may have finally reached a point in his life where he is no longer intimidated by certain characteristics or ideas which speak to his soul" He isn't intimidated by the fact that hes going to the stage of death awaiting the after life, hes contempt and at state of his life, hes going to let it happen.

the actual song is 7:48 so is longer than the video version, you should listen to it! it has a cool section that the video leaves out

I’m bummed I didn’t know before. After this video I went to add it to my playlist and realized it was way longer than the video. It’s a really impressive bridge.

I enjoyed your reaction, however this song is not about drugs. It is about death and letting go when the time has come. Like when he sais "So when it happens, when it happens, I won't be holding on." In the end he ascends to heaven because he has let go of everything "binding" him to his life on earth. It was shown quite literally when several seatbelts kept him in his seat and he had to let go of them in order to be free.
This comment is quite long I'm sorry :D
But now you can look for more hints when you rewatch the video ;)

Go back to the 80's and listen to First Circle "Working up a Sweat" 6:33 version. A treat for the ear.
