    After using Aveda's Invati Advanced and Invati Men's System for the last 8 months, I'm excited to share my thoughts! If you have thinning hair or hair loss, the Aveda Invati system could help change the way you feel about your hair, leaving your hair thicker and fuller. This system has a lot of options, so I break it all down for you. If you're curious about Invati and you still have questions, leave me a comment below!

    I experienced extreme hair loss after having Covid.😢 It was devastating!! I finally ended up cutting off my chest length hair to a short cut, as I looked sickly with my thin hair. My hairdresser suggested this system & I love it!!💕😎 It helped my fine hair feel thicker & healthier, so in turn I felt better about myself 😊🤓

    Hey Deron, I don’t know, if you’ll read this, but since you’re such a pro (with Aveda but also in general), I would love to know your thoughts and/ or recommendations: I am 38 years old and had my first baby in January… during pregnancy my hair was beautiful… full, bouncy and it grew a lot… a few weeks ago and therefore a few months after birth, the shedding started, although I think it’s a mix between breakage and falling out…😳… I’ve never seen this before, it’s sooo much hair, which really scares me. So I decided to change from Aveda be curly to Avati. The only problem I have with that is, that my hair looks terribly frizzy once it’s dried. Could be the broken off hairs too, I don’t know and of course, I’ve lost a lot of hair, maybe that’s why it looks so terrible. And I don’t color it or anything… so it‘s pretty salt and pepper, which I loved, especially during pregnancy, because the hair looked so healthy and shiny. Now I feel it‘s just a mess… I‘m also asking myself, if it would be good to cut off all the “damage” (even though I haven’t done something to my hair in many years, almost always let it air dry, no coloring etc.) and go with a pixie. I had a pixie for years and loved it, but when Covid came along, I started letting it grow… it’s longer than shoulder length right now, which took me almost 3 years… but to be honest, what good is longer hair, if it looks like mine? Thin, frizzy… I cannot wear it like you do, I always have to wear it “pinned up” now.😞 I would be very interested in your opinion.❤ Best wishes from Germany.

    • @DeronEdward
      @DeronEdward  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Maria thank you for the kind words! First congrats on your first baby!! Your hair experience through and after pregnancy is very normal so I wouldn’t be alarmed. I’m curious if you are using the light or rich Invati shampoo, I would recommend the rich. You might also need the extra moisture of the Invati Hair and Scalp mask which will also reduce some breakage. Because your hair is curly, the hairloss is most likely messing with your curl pattern and making it more frizzy. The good news is it should come back eventually 😊

      @@DeronEdward Thank you so much for your fast and helpful reply.🙏🏼 Since I have very fine hair and my scalp tends to get oily pretty fast, I thought the light version would be better, but if you recommend the rich one, I‘ll definitely give it a try.👌🏼 I also watched your videos regarding the Botanical Repair products and I had a few samples here (light mask + strengthening leave-in treatment) and tried both of them out… I gotta say, I really liked my hair after using these two as well (with the Avati light shampoo as the first step), since my hair looks horribly „straw-ish“, when I just wash it and don‘t use anything as a leave-in. *And* I‘m intrigued by the Botanical Repair over-night serum, but haven‘t tried it out yet. Would you recommend any of the Botanical Repair products for my actual situation?🤔 Or should I just stick to Avati and leave it at that for a few months?

    • @DeronEdward

    Hey bro, enjoyed your video, my biggest problem is that I have always had since a child fine hair that was very light and dry. I've tried everything from pomades which tend to make it look thinner to Clay's which do thicken it up but seem to be hit or miss depending on how dry my hair is that day. I don't really have a good shampoo conditioner product I typically get whatever seems to be the cleanest on the natural side of the grocery store. I can't really afford the most expensive products which is why I'm trying to find something that's sustainable so that I don't have to use so much clay product in my hair to get it to stay in place but also remain malleable. My hair length is about finger length on top and maybe a little bit longer than half finger length on the side. I try to maintain a classical hairstyle where it's parted over on one side. My hair naturally wants to go forward or else I would have tried to comb it back years ago, do you recommend anything

    • @DeronEdward
      @DeronEdward  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m curious which clays you’ve used. Aveda has a product called Thickening Paste, it’s not quite as a strong as a clay, but it has a bit more moisture to it, you might find it has the right balance for you 👍🏻

    I like to use leave-in conditioner, like the cherry almond or the one in the green bottle, whatever it's called. If I used the full Invati system, would that be unnecessary, or would it be fine to just continue using a leave-in conditioner, or perhaps some other product?

    • @DeronEdward

    I used Invati advanced rich today due to my hair loss. But when I started shampooing I got lot of hairs just like never before. I am scared. Am I using the right product? Does anybody else experienced like this while shampooing?

    • @DeronEdward
      @DeronEdward  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sorry to hear that, had it been a bit longer since your last shampoo? The shampoo itself should not cause more hair to release regardless of how you use it

      @@DeronEdwardusually I shampoo my hair once a week. Last Friday I used some other shampoo and today Invati advanced. Nowadays it became a nightmare for me to use shampoo and to brush my hair. And one more thing is, will it feel different in scalp when using Invati shampoo and revitalizer.?

    • @DeronEdward
      @DeronEdward  ปีที่แล้ว

      The shampoo is fairly gentle so your scalp might feel softer, the revitalizer should make it tingle, are you seeing a doctor for hairloss?

    • @sval4244
      @sval4244 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DeronEdward yes Deron. I am seeing a homeopathy doctor and she recommended this shampoo for my hair loss. It might be because of the COVID vaccine. I felt different while shampooing like refreshing, but since it’s very new to me I am little bit worried about using this. Hoping this shampoo will be right for me to reduce my hair loss, I will be trying it next week as well.

    • @DeronEdward

      There shouldn’t be any reason the shampoo would accelerate your hairloss. Try it again and if it still happens then I would discontinue and speak with your doctor

      @@DeronEdwardThank you, so by recommendation I have been using Olaplex 8 to condition and leave it in, towel dry with a tee- I’ve always done that and I don’t use heat as I personally do not like the end result of what my hair looks like after. I wash 2 times a week unless of course I need to wash it etc. I usually let it air dray damp then style it. I’ve lately been rocking a hat to hide the lack of style lol

      I wore a hat when I grew my hair the first time too 😊👍🏻 Are you rinsing the #8 out? Do you ever shower before bed and sleep on you hair when it’s still damp ?
