My Goodwill in Georgia, charges about $3 T-shirt; $8-10 light jacket; $7 long sleeve shirt; $15-20 any type of coat. Your pricing at the thrift store you go to is way cheaper than here. I rarely find new board games/games at all. $2.92 DVD/Blu Rays; $5.92 Video Games; $1-3 Vinyl; $0.52-$1 Cassette tapes; Books range from $0.77 - $2.92 a book. I'm seeing used tv's from $20 to $100 for large size used tv's.
Wow! Clothing prices you mentioned are the same as here in our region in the North Bay Area of Californua. I'd kind of assumed ours were high, but maybe not.
@@ThriftSchool Same with my thrift stores here in South Florida they are doing the same. Checking Ebay. I think they will not be selling as much at the higher prices and the items will end up at the bins
Our goodwill is small, WAY over priced and never has any board games, electronics, etc. worth buying. Blu ray movies (all used) are in the case and alway $10 or more. Crazy to see and I rarely go there anymore
seems like its a common trend thrift stores were selling a lot of clothes at cheaper prices so they focused more on clothing but with the focus the prices were raised and now the racks like u said are being over filled with nothing moving
they shouldn't do that with the cores they should keep it with the things they go with but if i was you i would buy the cores in case you get one that doesn't have a cored to go with it then you might have one and can sale them together for more money.
I love whatnot for clothes for myself and some reselling the thrift store racks at some GW are insane. I find buying off whatnot is a better deal. Or going to the bins. I found a recent thrift store that has great pricing, not a GW or Salvation. And they offer “ coupons “ !!
Yeah I was selling so much on Whatnot for $2-3 on things that people could turn around and make some money on. But I liked getting things in and out fast, I have so much inventory, that I need to start doing that more
Its really sad to see thrift stores trying to be like e commerce stores. The best way to combat that are the Goodwill bins/outlets. Paying by weight is the best way most times.
@@ThriftSchool Weird Ive seen Dad Planet film in his in Columbus numerous times. You should have the right to record, especially goodwills dont have the greatest cameras.
I wouldn't sell My Little Pony Rainbow Magic Game as I reckon it would sell for $22 on Amazon. It may take a while to sell as it's not the fastest selling item on eBay where it goes for $15 plus shipping for new with box damage. You like your games to be $10+ profit so it might not be worth it.
Yes, our thrift stores around Seattle are selling used goods at retail prices. In some cases there above retail prices. On top of that our tax is one of the largest in the country over 10%. It’s making it extremely difficult to be a reseller in Washington state. we really have come up with a lot of ways to think outside the box because it’s become essential to do so in order to stay in business. Pop of LollyandPopresale
@@ThriftSchool Maybe you could sell it to a pawn shop in a really urban place that take jackets. They might buy it for a good $15-$20. $25 could be a good price to haggle for if you really want to push the high end of the trade in price
@@ThriftSchool 2:45 You did accidentally through the portable sorry game but it wasn't your fault in the first place. Some person might have donated it broken, they might have been defective products in the first place or even someone else a little kid or another reseller that tries to ruin the reselling name that might have broken the game before you accidentally threw the game. Accidents happen and I'll still continue to watch your videos. I know you won't deliberately damage items. One time I accidentally broke a coaster that I was already going to buy from a thrift store/op shop, luckily the volunteer let me have it for free
I like your videos but I don't like how you treat the stuff you don't want (like throwing the baby Yoda on the shelf) or that game, that you damaged and put it back without any regrets. 😮
Nothing wrong with thrift stores trying to price for the end consumer. If it was too cheap it would all go to resellers and end consumers wont get a deal.

Are you in the North East area of Georgia? Used to find good items at that location if its the one closest to where i livem
Wow! Clothing prices you mentioned are the same as here in our region in the North Bay Area of Californua.
I'd kind of assumed ours were high, but maybe not.
My thrift stores have started checking eBay sold listings and pricing items according to the sold prices. It sucks!
Oh no. That sucks so much. Gotta start trying out others places in the mean time
@@ThriftSchool Same with my thrift stores here in South Florida they are doing the same. Checking Ebay. I think they will not be selling as much at the higher prices and the items will end up at the bins
When you say you are scanning items, what do you mean by that? Is there a particular app or something to use?

Yikes. That's rough to deal with. Where do u source besides them.
One local thrift near me is full any size bag of clothing for $3. Then you go down the road to the next one and they charge $10 for a plain T-Shirt
Did you check the camera @7:43? It was in a baggie

The internet must be killing thrifting
Hello!I wanted to ask, do you use SellerAmp soft, or maybe another soft?Thank you so much!🙏
I use inventorylab at the moment and repriceit. Those are the only 2 external apps I am currently using

Wish I had cash this week like last week. I'd hit up your Whatnot show again.
Dang :( gonna be running lots of these comics and video games. I'm going to be Whatnotting every Wednesday at 8:30pm for the foreseeable future though
Every where so dang expensive anymore my local goodwill gone damn nuts video games ten dollars each and movies 7 each there smoking something
Seven for a movie, in US dollars too. That's like at least $10 Australian Dollars. Expensive for me
Always look forward to watching your videos during my lunch lol 🐐
Thank you! Got day 3 coming tomorrow!
OMG I spotted a giant Pikachu at the very end right before the wonder woman mask!!!!! 😮😮😮so cute 🥰🥰🥰
I mean, they have to get to a point where they realize clothes aren't moving fast enough because of the price & drop them.
Its really sad to see thrift stores trying to be like e commerce stores. The best way to combat that are the Goodwill bins/outlets. Paying by weight is the best way most times.
I wish I had a Goodwill Bins closer to me. Theres one over an hour away but they don't like when you film inside so I never go lol

How do they always have so many board games there? That's crazy.
How to get ungated in board games ?
If goodwill would price their stuff a lot cheaper then the landfills wouldn't be so full

Wow throwing stuff and breaking stuff being a little jerk
What did I throw? Besides the little stuffed animal lol. I even bought it afterwards. He's in the backdrop of my whatnot stream.
