- Neo‐Modernists acknowledge the significance of an individual aesthetic and the acceptance of a pluralist outlook rather than the search for universal solutions associated with the Modernist movement. By applying a Neo Modernist concept to the increasingly complex contemporary understandings of Pluto, I hope to pose questions (and hopefully suggested answers) as to how this distant and small planet actually works in modern astrology.
Steve has studied astrology since 1977, is self taught and was awarded the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology in 2005. In 45 years he has records of over 40,000 horoscope readings with a large and loyal client base. He is a published author on Astrology, and has a large number of astrological students in his weekly on-line classes. Thank you so much for this breakdown on pluto. The last 15 years of my life Pluto has been in my six house and it is been by far the most difficult time. It is completely broken me down and Stripped Away unhealthy behaviors that I formed as a child that I carried into my adult relationships with men. Now that Pluto is close to being done in Capricorn I have finally learned the Deep lessons and feel that I have finally broken through. Sometimes I joke that Pluto completely rules my chart and the struggle has been deep and hard but in the end the life lessons that I have learned coming out to this have changed every single thing about me for the better.
I enjoyed Steve's sense of humor and expertise. I subscribed and turned on the notifications.

Every time I listen to Steve I learn so much.
I was born in 1945. My Moon is conjunct Pluto, my Sun is opposite Pluto, (I’m a Full Moon soul), my Uranus is sextile Pluto, my Neptune is sextile Pluto. I love my kite. Pluto is in 12th house and retrograde. Pluto has always been huge in my life and as much as possible I have come to love the Darkness as a place of healing. I have studied Astrology for the past 40 years. Thank you so much for this.❤

I too have Pluto now conjunct my Moon for the last 15 years when he entered Capricorn. He will be moving into my First House with Ascendent and will oppose my Natal Pluto 7th house. I have been so drawn to Pluto/Hades!

This is so cool! I have my natal Pluto in my 11 th house in Virgo at 27°. It is in an exact conjunction with my Black Moon Lilith. Both are trine my Sun and Saturn in Taurus which is combust in the 7th house.

I have sun square Pluto/Uranus and when Pluto transiting my sun - square this 60s conjunction I had an ego death - with nearly everything in my day to day life disintegrated. A new self emerged. Very close orb less the half degree - sun at point of t square with Chiron. The Pluto/Uranus trine mars - it’s taken time for me to understand people’s reaction to me as over or under estimating. Paralleled with deep healing processes

Always appreciate Steve's take on things, usually short and sweet. Yet this one definitely piqued my interest, with my natal Sun square Pluto. Looked up my first square, a pivotal time, and then later realized that Transiting Pluto was also then opposite my Sun at the same!!! It wasn't as bad as i would have thought, though there was definitely times years earlier i remember describing as "descents into hell." Thank you for some new insights.

My chart is built with one square to personal planet by Pluto, and Pluto conjunct Mars as a young child, and now Pluto has opposed the natally squared, and will square Mars and trine Moon in early aquarius. After reaching pisces there is oppositions to stellium with Sun and Mercury. But I find it interesting my mother has similarly Pluto in the next sign from Sun and not conjuncts to personal planets, where as my father and two siblings have had Pluto conjunct Sun, Mercury, Venus and my brother also Moon. My siblings are cap Suns, but Ive Saturn in first house as a part of stellium in virgo. Like some split.

Well I have Pluto opposite my moon and it and Saturn keep passing over my natal sun and moon, then retrograding back again. To make it worse I have a yod (Saturn/north node pointing to my natal sun) just to add more fun to the mix. FYI natal Saturn in 1st house next to natal Pluto in 2nd house. Now they are exact opposite from my natal Saturn and Pluto. The past 6 years have been challenging to say the least. Every time Saturn went over the top of my yod my life changed dramatically. This time Pluto came with Saturn. I will be happy when they finish their playing around and move on. 😊

Im fascinated by Pluto and I have it right on my AC (I also have a trine from the Moon to Pluto and other aspects)... When I was in high school I participated in theater plays and was unknowingly given Plutonian roles: death, a prostitute in the 1940s, a gypsy that was clarivoyant... In real life, I have gone through constant and profound transformation in my life and I am grateful for the lessons learnt. Any advice for the upcoming eclipse (which hits my Pluto and my AC)? thank you for this wonderful trip through the Pluto pond
